If The Republican Party Refuses To Learn From The Trump Era, Winning In 2022 Will Mean Nothing

by Rachel Bovard | The Federalist | January 13, 2022

McCarthy is not espousing the bold, visionary agenda of a party that understands the forces that threaten its voters, and is prepared to do battle on their behalf.

The days and weeks after the Trump administration’s departure generated waves of think pieces from the right-of-center about what Donald Trump’s election and tenure could mean for the future of the GOP.

Setting aside the obnoxious and hysterical bloviating about “the end of democracy” that dominated the mainstream press, pundits (myself included) opined about the opportunity for the GOP to make a pivot that embraced the working-class voters Trump brought into the party, to learn from his willingness to update the conservative platform to take on modern challenges and to follow his fearlessness in the culture wars.

In this year’s approaching midterm elections, it appears congressional Republicans are poised to take back at least one congressional majority — in the House of Representatives. The problem? Rep. Kevin McCarthy, the Republican leader and presumptive Republican speaker, appears to have forgotten that the Trump moment happened at all.

In an interview with Fox News, McCarthy outlined the top priorities for the GOP should they be given a congressional majority: stopping the flow of drugs and human trafficking on the border, making it easier to start and grow a business, re-establishing America’s energy independence, and passing a parent’s bill of rights.

If you’re sensing shades of elections ranging from 1984 to 2012, you’re not alone. Minus the aberration that was Trump, the Republican Party has been promising the exact same set of goals for my entire lifetime, regardless of what is actually happening in the country. One suspects that a nuclear winter could befall the entire North American continent and Republicans would struggle mightily through the fallout to declare they have the solution to the problem: the reauthorization of the Keystone Pipeline.

It’s not that these policies are wrong or even misplaced. They’re simply mis-prioritized. Yes, more enforcement at the border, making life better for small businesses, securing American energy independence, and enforcing parental choice are good and absolutely necessary policy goals. But they also represent the absolute baseline expectations that voters should have from an even marginally competent Republican party.

What McCarthy is espousing as top policy priorities are the rote, daily business Republicans should be engaging in when running the country, not the bold, visionary agenda of a party that understands and acknowledges the forces that now threaten its voters, and that is prepared to do battle on their behalf.

In other words, Republicans need to present an actually compelling policy vision — one in which the party is prepared to deliver tangible policy relief to conservative voters who are beleaguered by a host of new threats, ranging from the large and impersonal forces of deindustrialization and globalization to the intensely local damage inflicted on families by the petty corporate tyranny of public health czars.

The Republican Ruling Class and the Republican Base

This detachment between Republican politicians and their voters isn’t new in Republican politics. The divide between the GOP and its base has been growing for years, and even when acknowledged by D.C. politicians, often misunderstood.

Former Republican House Speaker John Boehner either completely ignored or misread the frustration that drove the emergence of the Tea Party movement in 2010 and beyond, while the party’s donor class co-opted the energy into solely fiscal concerns, neglecting voters’ expressed frustration with the GOP’s failures to address Obamacare and the country’s health-care system, and Republican efforts to pass massive amnesty for illegal immigrants.

The Tea Party wave election of 2010, which saw the defeat of big-spending Republican incumbents and a rejection of establishment-selected successors to certain Senate seats, was the first shot across the bow. When that failed to resonate with DC’s Republican leadership, Republican voters responded in 2016 by launching a nuclear missile in the form of Donald J. Trump.

McCarthy appears poised to repeat the same mistakes of D.C.’s Republican ruling class by looking directly past the concerns animating the party’s voters. And it couldn’t come at a worse time. Now, more than ever, working-class voters find themselves vulnerable in ways they’ve never been before.

The dominant Covid response exacerbated an already growing wealth gap between rich and poor. As the billionaires grow wealthier, middle-class families are having fewer children and increasingly living on a financial knife’s edge.

Republicans still find themselves without a viable healthcare plan as states and hospitals (both of which receive generous federal subsidies) condition access to Covid treatments on racial preferencing. The Department of Justice and the FBI have been turned into a politicized, perpetually rights-violating surveillance arms of the Democratic Party, while the Department of Health and Human Services casually greenlights the sale of aborted fetal baby parts.

The China shock has left middle America hollowed out, its once industrious middle-class manufacturing base impoverished, unemployed, and ravaged by a largely unaddressed opioid crisis. Meanwhile, American mega-corporations happily replace non-college-educated American workers with cheap foreign laborers, exploiting our country’s legal immigration system with impunity. These same corporations happily bend the knee to China, helping America’s biggest geopolitical adversary develop technology and looking the other way as China marches its minorities into forced labor camps.

Women as a unique and celebrated biological class are slowly being erased as their accomplishments in the classroom and on the athletic field are overtaken by men. Americans, including elected officials, are cut off without recourse from the digital public square.

Employees at America’s flagship corporations are punished if they don’t submit to corporate race flogging from HR, while public institutions teach America’s kids that their worth is defined by skin color. Americans are now routinely fired, with the encouragement of the federal government, for refusing vaccines that have been widely available for less than a year.

In the face of all of this, congressional Republicans must do more than simply shrug. A party that cannot even acknowledge the emergence of these threats, much less commit to specific, novel ways of addressing them, is assigning itself to irrelevance.

Republicans Must Deliver for Their Voters

A coherent Republican agenda has to tangibly deliver for its voters — not simply through appeals to broad, free-market concepts, but by directly addressing the hurdles thrown down by the corporate, government, and geoeconomic forces that seek to do them harm.

Trump doesn’t remain the most popular Republican in the party due to some coercion or bullying or mind control. He remains popular with the Republican base because of his willingness as president to speak directly to what was threatening people every day. Ron DeSantis, governor of Florida, has exploded in popularity for the exact same reason.

Republicans would be wrong to think that voters are flocking to them in 2022 because they’ve presented a clear and compelling vision for the future. Even political neophytes can see that Republicans are winning not on their own merits, but because Democrats are massively imploding in a spectacle of tone-deaf, racist woke-splaining overreach, unabated COVID power grabs, and legislative incompetence.

But as this Democratic majority has shown, it’s one thing to win power, it’s another to maintain it. The Republican party may have voters turning to them now in desperation, but they’re still waiting for a tangible reason to stay.

Chamber of Commerce ‘Left’ Republican Party ‘A Long Time Ago,’ Not Welcome Back

by Matthew Boyle | Breitbart | January 11, 2022

House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy told Breitbart News that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has no place in the modern Republican Party and that the big business lobby is not going to be welcome back if and when Republicans are back in power.

McCarthy’s comments came during the latest On The Hill long-form video special, taped in December at an Eastern Market establishment on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.

McCarthy is correct that the Chamber backed several vulnerable Democrats in the 2020 congressional elections, endorsing them over Republicans and perhaps preserving the Democrat majority in the process. Had Republicans flipped just a handful more seats—they flipped a net 15 from Democrats in 2020—they would have the majority instead of the Democrats right now. The Chamber, which endorsed 23 House Democrats in 2020, may have made the difference in helping keep the Democrats in the majority as some of the members the business group endorsed survived tight reelection races.

If five or more of the Chamber-backed Democrats who survived in 2020, like Reps. Cindy Axne (D-IA), Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), Elaine Luria (D-VA), Susie Lee (D-NV), Dean Phillips (D-MN), or Angie Craig (D-MN) among others, did not survive their reelection bids then the Republicans would be in the U.S. House majority right now.

Elaine Luria (R) (D-VA) are trailed by reporters after leaving a House Democratic caucus meeting at the U.S. Capitol where formal impeachment proceedings against U.S. President Donald Trump were announced by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi September 24, 2019 in Washington, DC. McCarthy’s comments on this come as more broadly the business community and Republicans have grown apart, especially in the wake of the January 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol. In the immediate aftermath of that event, many large corporations cut off Republicans who challenged the 2020 election results that day. McCarthy went on to generally agree that businesses getting overtly political is not good for their bottom line.

“The thing I see that’s happening in the corporate world is they’re becoming woke,” McCarthy said. “Their philosophy should be running their business, not going day to day about what’s happening in politics. They have a right to do what they want, but I don’t think they’ll be as productive if they lose sight of why the shareholders buy their stock which is to run a business and efficiency of that.”

Georgia’s Republican Governor Kemp Should Be Disqualified from Ever Running for Office Again

by Joe Hoft  | Gateway Pundit | January 8, 2022

Earlier this week we reported a bombshell report where True the Vote released evidence that identified 279 people who were illegally stuffing drop boxes in Georgia before the 2020 Election.  What was left unreported is Governor Kemp’s responses to this information.

We first reported on this story months ago, and then on January 4th, four days ago, we reported that True the Vote has data, witnesses, and video evidence of election fraudsters in Georgia participating in what appears to be a ‘Ballot Trafficking’ operation before the 2020 Election. True the Vote shared their information with Georgia’s Governor Kemp and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) back in April 2021.  Months later, in September 2021, True the vote received a response from Governor Kemp’s appointee at the GBI, minimizing the evidence provided and providing their decision not to perform any investigation into the ballot trafficking operation.

Response to True the Vote from Governor Kemp and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation: Page 2

The GBI also at that time provided the same response to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  In doing so, Kemp’s GBI released private and sensitive information on the operation to the press.

In response, the Bopp Law Firm and True the Vote, responded to Georgia Governor Kemp’s response in October 2021.  Kemp’s GBI shared information provided by True the Vote to the press that was not forthright.  As the letter below notes, the GBI provided confidential information to the press.   They omitted evidence True the Vote provided as well as more information provided since April.

True the Vote notes that they withheld names of individuals from Kemp and the GBI because they were afraid they would be leaked.  Sure enough, the GBI leaked a slanted story to the garbage media proving True the Vote’s concerns were legit.

See True the Vote’s response to Kemp, Raffensperger, and the GBI below.

Page 2

Governor Kemp and Secretary of State Raffensperger have never been interested in uncovering the massive election fraud in their state in the 2020 Election.

Their actions prove they should never hold office in Georgia or anywhere ever again. A real investigation of them would likely uncover why they are so terrified of uncovering the crimes and fraud in Georgia’s 2020 Election.

Joe Biden's most disgusting, dishonest speech

« Ted Cruz goes on Tucker to try to walk back his words about January 6 »

by Monica Showalter | American Thinker | January 7, 2021

If you like dishonesty, and dollop after dollop of general disgustingness, Joe Biden had the speech for you.

Here he was for his big Jan. 6 moment in front of Congress, denouncing his predecessor, President Trump, defending voter fraud, demanding more of it, and calling it 'democracy.'  His speech was ultimately an argument for his own right to power, by fair means or foul. Andrea Widburg has an excellent piece describing the Academy Awards quality of the whole wretched specter here

Watch President Biden’s Full Jan. 6 Anniversary Speech

Several things stick out and none of them are pleasant.

One, he clearly hired a political consultant to profile which words would upset President Trump most, because he wanted to stick the knife in himself. "Failure," "didn't win," "lost," all spoken with shouting-level emphasis, figured prominently, just as any good political profiler might recommend. Those words were chosen carefully. Well, now we know what his real aim was in that speech: to annoy President Trump and insult his voters, not 'defend democracy' as he tried to market to the public. When have we ever had a president of this kind of crumminess? File under 'disgusting.'

His claims about democracy being attacked and the will of the people being under assault and the Constitution being under attack were garbage, too. We all know he doesn't care about democracy. This is the vax mandate president, he's the thug who tells you what to do with your own body or no school and airline flights for you. Illegals, of course, are exempt, and they don't need I.D. to ride airplanes, either. Law? He doesn't care about that -- he repeatedly ignored judicial orders and does what he damn well pleases. Constitution? He and his want to get rid of the Constitution. Will of the people? He shouldn't go there -- "Let's go, Brandon" and "I did that" are the will of the people, now that he's ensconced in office by fraud in a stolen election and his poll numbers are perfectly reflective of it.

'The promise of America alive'? 'The flame of democracy'? Said the man in bed with wokesters, statue topplers, critical race theory commissars, and Chicom-compromised propagandists? These creatures have never liked America. Their aim is to get rid of America. What they like is power, and what they want is our stuff, to expropriate for themselves, the better to create a new nomenklatura out of the dead carcass of American democracy. Those phrases are clearly borrowed from Peggy Noonan from the Reagan era before she went NeverTrump on us. As usual, Joe Biden plagiarizes, wearing Reaganist phrases like a skin suit.

'You can't love your country only when you win'? That's a doozy. Let's hear him mouth that phrase at midterms come November 2022. As for 'win,' well, he didn't win, he cheated. State after state has enacted bona fide election reform laws after all of the sludge that has come out about ballot harvesting, mass mail balloting, dead voters, zero id voters, illegals voting, and other bona fide electoral abuses.

Arizona held hearings and found massive problems, many of which cannot be redressed because the evidence is gone or tainted.

Georgia right now has belatedly gotten around to investigating ballot-harvesting, which is illegal in the state, with one character coming out of the woodwork to say he earned $45,000 for all his hard work harvesting ballots.

American Thinker contributor Jay Valentine has done stellar research on nests of fraud that have been festering for years in many blue (and occasionally red) states. The fraud in the recent New Jersey election certainly doesn't instill confidence that election stealing is gone.

Molly Hemingway has exposed the Mark Zuckerberg/social media manipulations and buck-slinging in her best-selling book called "Rigged" that's out now.

GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw says Marjorie Taylor Greene is either a 'Democrat or an idiot'...

...and tells her to stop 'playing the victim' in a spat over COVID testing and her Twitter ban.

by Geoff Earle, Deputy U.S. Political Editor for dailymail.com and Morgan Phillips, Politics ReporterDaily Mail | January 4, 2022

  • The Georgia GOP rep's account - @mtgreenee - was axed Sunday
  • Greene said she was suspended for sharing a tweet citing numbers from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System
  •  A Twitter spokesperson said: 'We permanently suspended @mtrgreene for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy'
  • This is the fifth strike for Greene, who was last suspended in August
  • Texas Rep. Crenshaw blasted her for playing the 'victim'
  • He touted his legislation to change communications law
  • Greene ripped Crenshaw for attacking 'America First Republicans' and said it was 'because he (not so secretly) hates Trump'

Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas tore into Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for 'playing the victim' after she repeatedly railed against Twitter over its suspension of her account for posting 'covid misinformation.'

And the lawmaker said she was either a Democrat or an 'idiot' after she went after him for saying the FEMA should set up COVID testing sites to help counter the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, which saw a stunning daily 1 million coronavirus infections Monday. The Biden administration has been setting up such sites amid the spike in infections.

The former Navy SEAL, who has tangled with Greene in the past, blasted Greene on Instagram after the Georgia Republican called Twitter an 'enemy to America' following her suspension. 'That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies,' she wrote Sunday.

GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw (Texas) has been in a prolonged online spat with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who had her account suspended from Twitter

That prompted a scolding from Crenshaw. 'And @realmarjoriegreene, instead of playing the victim about censorship maybe use your position as a LEGISLATOR to help pass LEGISLATION against censorship,' he wrote.

'Luckily I’ve already done all the hard work for you and drafted a bill that would change Section 230 to prohibit political censorship. Want to co-sponsor before I introduce it? Or prefer to keep up with petty and childish attacks? Your call.'

Section 230 is the provision of communications law that protects tech companies from being legally responsible for claims made by third parties on their sites.

Greene in turn accused Crenshaw of 'posting creepy stalking pictures of me' and 'harassing me' to cosponsor his bill.

Greene had gone after Crenshaw when he appeared on Fox News and called for federal interventions to deal with the rapid spread of the omicron virus variant.

'So what the federal government should be doing, again, is using their FEMA resources to bolster a lot of these testing sites, open up new testing sites,' Crenshaw said.

Crenshaw tore into Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for 'playing the victim' and said she was either a Democrat or an 'idiot' following a comment about FEMA testing sites

You might be a Democrat - or just an idiot,' Crenshaw wrote

He encouraged Greene to cosponsor his communications legislation to change Section 230 to prohibit political censorship.

To amend section 230 of the Communications Act of 1934 to limit  immunity under such sections based on racial, sexual, political affiliation, or ethnic grounds, and to  prevent access to lawful content, and to prevent discrimination, and unfair methods of competition on the Internet, and for other purposes.

Greene attacked his bill as giving 'protection to online Porn companies'

Crenshaw went after 'petty and childish attacks' amid the spat.

Greene, who got suspended from Twitter on Jan. 2, slammed his remarks on Instagram. She said the feds shouldn't be setting up testing for 'sneezes, coughs, and runny noses' – describing the mildest form of a virus that can also land people in the hospital with severe breathing problems or result in death.

Crenshaw wrote in response: 'Hey, Marjorie, if suggesting we should follow Trump policy instead of Biden mandates makes you mad, then you might be a Democrat — or just an idiot.'

He kept after her in his 'victim' attack – and accused her of playing up such incidents to boost her own fundraising and notoriety. They voted to strip her of committee assignments for some of her prior statements.

Former President Donald Trump issued a statement from his Save America PAC defending Greene on Tuesday, calling Twitter a 'disgrace to democracy.'

'They shouldn’t be allowed to do business in this Country. Marjorie Taylor Greene has a huge constituency of honest, patriotic, hard-working people. ... Keep fighting, Marjorie!'

Wrote Crenshaw: 'That Marjorie scoffed at the notion of supporting anti-censorship legislation is indicative of her true intent: to remain a victim. She doesn’t want solutions and she doesn't [sic] care if you get censored. She just wants to be a victim so she can keep asking you for campaign donations. It’s a scam.'

Greene hit back on conservative media platform Gettr: 'Dan Crenshaw, who spends more time attacking America First Republicans because he (not so secretly) hates Trump, is talking about a bill to 'hold Big Tech accountable!; but is the same type of toothless bill the Paul Ryan types try to sell to make it look like they're doing something,' she wrote.

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy on Monday slammed Twitter for trying to 'silence' diversity after the platform banned Greene for what it described as 'Covid misinformation.'

'Diversity of opinion is the lifeblood of our democracy. And yet that fundamental American value is under assault by Big Tech—entities that have amassed more power and more control over more speech than any other institution in history,' McCarthy, R-Calif., said in a statement.

'Their recent decisions to silence Americans — including a sitting member of Congress and renowned physicians — who share views different from the political and media elite have real-world costs.'

'In fact, as we get more information on the virus it is clear many of the views once demonized by technology companies and the political elite are turning out to be true. The doctrines of lockdowns, school closures, and the threat of covid-19 illness according to age groups and previous infection are currently being reversed,' said McCarthy.

'Americans on the political left, including popular cable news hosts, members of Congress, and even the Vice President have themselves made public comments that are now universally understood to be false. Yet, they face no repercussions from the gatekeepers of America's town square.'

The Georgia GOP rep's account - @mtgreenee - was axed Sunday.

Her final tweets show her railing at what she blasted as government overreach about COVID and discussing how life had changed since the virus hit US shores.

While Greene's personal account has been banned her congressional account remains active.

This is the fifth strike for Greene, who was last suspended in August for saying that vaccines were 'failing' to reduce the spread of COVID and that the FDA shouldn't have approved them.

She got her third strike in July after tweeting that COVID wasn't dangerous. She was also suspended in January, days after the Capitol riot, for tweets echoing conspiracy theories about voter fraud in her home state of Georgia.

'Their recent decisions to silence Americans — including a sitting member of Congress and renowned physicians — who share views different from the political and media elite have real-world costs,' McCarthy said

Marjorie Taylor Greene, pictured center, has had her personal Twitter account suspended for repeatedly sharing COVID misinformation

Greene's personal account was suspended on Sunday, as seen in this grab, after Twitter previously said

Two or three strikes earn a 12-hour account lock; four strikes prompt a weeklong suspension, and five or more strikes can get someone permanently removed from Twitter.

A Twitter spokesperson said: 'We permanently suspended @mtrgreene for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy. We've been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.'

In a statement released by her office, Greene said she was suspended for sharing a tweet citing numbers from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, a self-reporting tool for vaccine side effects managed by the Centers for Disease Control and the Food and Drug Administration.

Greene's suspension comes almost a year after Donald Trump was permanently suspended days after the January 6 riot.

In a lengthy Twitter thread on Saturday, Greene posted a graph showing a reported 18,000 deaths from the COVID-19 vaccines, according to VAERS data.

'Before Covid, Reported deaths from vaccines were taken seriously and dangerous vaccines were stopped. After Covid, Extremely high amounts of covid vaccine deaths are ignored and government-forced vaccine mandates increase,' she said.

VAERS allows anyone to report side effects after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. Government health officials have warned that the data is being misused and misinterpreted, given that anyone is able to submit a report.

Reports of side effects or deaths caused by the COVID-19 vaccine on VAERS do not prove that negative outcomes were related to the vaccine itself.

Last month, Greene, 47, compared COVID to cancer in a four-tweet thread calling for Americans to take a more laid-back attitude to the virus.

'Every single year more than 600,000 people in the US die from cancer. In 2021, an estimated 608,570 people will die of cancer in the United States. The country has never once shut down. Not a single school has closed.

'And every year, over 600,000 people, of all ages and all races, will continue to die from cancer.

'Since #COVID19 tracking has started, 780,000+ people have died in 22 mo in the US, but more than 1 million still died of cancer.

'More have died in 2021 from covid than 2020 in spite of Gov mandated widespread vaccines, mass public masking, & trillions spent.

'Covid predominately targets obese & older people,' Greene added, insisting that 'it's time to take a different approach based on the facts' and 'stop the politically driven mass hysteria.'

Greene has also taken repeated aim at White House COVID tsar Dr. Anthony Fauci, and even shared snaps of herself wearing a face mask emblazoned with the words 'Fire Fauci.'

Greene tweeted in August that the FDA should not approve the COVID vaccines because there were 'too many reports' of breakthrough cases. Twitter marked the tweet misleading and blocked users from interacting with it

Greene tweeted in August that the FDA should not approve the COVID vaccines because there were 'too many reports' of breakthrough cases. Twitter marked the tweet misleading and blocked users from interacting with it

When her account was suspended in August 2021, a Twitter spokesperson said: 'The account will be in read-only mode for a week due to repeated violations of the Twitter rules.'

Other House Republicans went after Twitter for banning Greene.

'Welcome to the Woketopia. Where information is controlled by the few,' Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., tweeted.

Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., said Republicans 'WILL be holding' tech companies 'accountable' if the party takes back the House majority in the fall.

In 2017, she called the internet-born conspiracy theory QAnon, whose believers follow the words of an alleged government insider nicknamed Q, a 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take this global cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles out,' according to the Tampa Bay Times.

In February 2021, she said in a speech on the House floor that she stopped believing in the conspiracy theory once she found 'misinformation, lies, things that were not true' in QAnon posts.

On Sunday, the first-term congresswoman pointed the finger at her colleagues, suggesting Twitter has a double standard.

'Maxine Waters can go to the streets and threaten violence on Twitter, Kamala and Ilhan can bail out Black Lives Matter terrorists on Twitter, CNN and the rest of the Democrat Propaganda Media can spread Russia collusion lies, and just yesterday the Chief spokesman for terrorist IRGC can tweet mourning Soleimani, but I get suspended for tweeting VAERS statistics,' she said.

Statistics from the self-reporting vaccine side effect database are often cited by conservative commentators like Tucker Carlson to downplay the effectiveness of vaccines.

Last week, Greene criticized the national College Republicans group for tweeting out a message wishing people a Happy Kwanzaa.

The secular festival of African American culture is celebrated each year from December 26 to January 1.

'Stop. It's a fake religion created by a psychopath,' Greene wrote back on Twitter. 'You aren't bringing in new voters, you are turning them away. People are tired of pandering and BS.'

Black Progress: ‘Government Has Simply Failed …’

Source: AP Photo/Charles Rex Arbogast

by Will Alexander | Town Hall | January 3, 2021

As emperor of one of the largest empires ever existed, Caesar Augustus was one of the most effective leaders in human history.  Great-nephew and adopted son of Julius Caesar, Augustus gave birth to Rome’s golden age – the Pax Romana (“Roman Peace”) – a period of relative stability, expansion, and prosperity that lasted 200 years.

As historian and philosopher Will Durant put it, he was worshiped as a god because after decades of wars, rebellions, and a lack of security that constantly disrupted trade and politics, Augustus finally “cured the cancer of chaos” in Rome.

But with all his success, he failed miserably in one area: He could not – through law alone – restore Rome’s moral compass.

“The very peace that Augustus had organized, and the security that he had won for Rome, had loosened the fiber of the people,” Durant wrote in Caesar and Christ, Book III of his 11-volume mega-history on The Story of Civilization.  “No one wanted to enlist in the army or recognize the periodicity of war.  Luxury had taken the place of simplicity, sexual license was replacing parentage; by its own exhausted will, the great race was beginning to die.”

Roman society knew that moral core as mos maiorum or “way of the ancestors” – unwritten social norms that complemented Roman law.

“The decay of the ancient faith among the upper classes had washed away the supernatural supports of marriage, fidelity, and parentage,” wrote Durant.

Seeing the seeds of decay, Augustus passed a series of Draconian family laws, known to history as the “Julian laws,” that he hoped would “restore morals, marriage, fidelity, parentage, and a simpler life.”

It failed miserably.

So much so that Durant said Augustus, in the end, agreed with something Horace wrote that I believe applies to America today: “Laws are vain when hearts remain unchanged.”

Like Rome, an era of relative peace since the end of World War II has slowly loosened the moral fiber of the American people, accelerating to warp speed from the ‘60s on.  For the Romans, it was the mos maiorum.  For America, it’s Judeo-Christian values – unwritten social norms that complement our laws.  The decay of America’s “ancient faith” is washing away the supernational supports of marriage, patriotism, shared values, and national identity.

Nowhere do the signs scream louder that “the great race is beginning to die” than in troubled black communities.  Broken homes have created broken communities that churn out record fatherlessness, joblessness, a celebration of deviancy, black-on-black killings, and – when some don’t get their way – burning, looting, rioting, and random violence.

Troubled black communities don’t have problems that government can solve by piling up more laws.  They have a moral problem.  Fatherlessness, deviancy, burning, looting, hopelessness, and killing are heart–character issues, not civil rights issues.

Heart issues are why Pastor Corey Brooks, founder of Project H.O.O.D., is on a 100-day rooftop “campout” in 19-degree weather, on the corner of one of the most gang-infested streets in the Chicago suburb of Woodlawn, Ill., the “O-Block.”

“The reason why we call it O-Block is because it's named after a young man named O.D. Perry, who was shot and killed [here],” Brooks said on Day 42 of his “Rooftop Revelations” on Saturday.  “The gangs picked up his name and started calling it O-Block. We decided we are going to keep the “O” and “Opportunity Block” is what we're gonna call it.”

With a bucket and a baby basin as his bathroom, Brooks is looking to raise $35 million for the 85,000-square-foot Leadership and Economic Opportunity Center where, once built, he said will be used to convert gangsters into productive citizens, provide trauma counseling to victims of violence, fill education gaps, and give vocational training and a safe place for young people after school.

“I tell people all the time that government can make laws,” said Brooks, “but they can’t change hearts.  It is God and people who work on the hearts.”

But with the government, it was never for the lack of trying.  After landmark civil rights legislation killed statutory Jim Crow in the mid-‘60s, President Lyndon Johnson rolled out his War On Poverty programs and deployed battalions of well-meaning volunteers to “The Other America” to get the “invisible poor” onto the programs.  Like Augustus, the government failed miserably.

“What very few people realize on the South Side [of Chicago] is that since the 1960s, our government and post-‘60s liberalism has made us an experiment in this pursuit for equality of outcome,” said Brooks.  “Our community is literally government-controlled.  We have every form of government assistance available, from housing to food to medical care.  The outcome after 60 and 70 years of this is that we are all equal on the bottom.”

So Brooks has a fresh idea to fix the entrenched generational problems in troubled black communities:

“We come from a proud people who survived the worst horrors of America,” said Brooks.  “We can reverse the conditions in our neighborhoods.  The first thing we must accept is that the government has no interest or the ability to fix its damage to our communities. We must do it ourselves.”

When Pastor Brooks endorsed Republican candidate Bruce Rauner for governor of Illinois back in 2014, the liberal machine targeted him. For many, “we must do it ourselves” is common sense, and it’s led Brooks to policy solutions that align with conservatives.  But for those in the racing industry, “we must do it ourselves” is a threat.

Brooks got death threats, his church was burglarized, his family had to go into hiding, 75 percent of his congregation left, and unions were bussed in to protest his neighborhood daily.

For liberals and hucksters in the racing industry, predictably, the problem with troubled black communities is a racist America.

“Race is not the biggest problem that we face in the United States of America, and it’s definitely not the biggest problem that we face in Chicago,” Brooks said.  … “It’s easy to say, ‘the white man, the white man’ when in reality we need to take a closer look at ourselves. We’re telling them educationally – you’ve got to get it together.  Economically, you’ve got to get it together.  Family and spiritually, you have to get it together.  And you have to take responsibility.”

“Government has simply failed …” he said.

The fact that so many Americans see exactly what Brooks sees and can’t say it out loud when so many lives are being destroyed and when the country is literally being turned upside down is in itself clear evidence of major moral decay.

One Of The Biggest Stories In 2021 – And Few Noticed

by The Blue State Conservative | December 31, 2021

No story in 2021 was more important than that of January 6th. It was the culminating event of 'Trump hatred' gone nuclear and provided the final catalyst to ban him and attempt to ban his supporters from society. Over the course of the year, we have learned what a lie and set up it was.

To ask a few rhetorical questions underscores the sheer absurdity of the day. Why was this the one Trump rally to absolutely lose it? Why were police killings at this rally intentionally ignored after a year of burning, looting, and murdering over other police shootings? Why was the death and funeral of Officer Brian Sicknick so falsified? Why are so many co-conspirators unindicted to this day, including ones clearly captured on camera instigating certain behaviors? How is it possible that American prisoners can be detained for a full year without charges brought against them and kept in miserable, filthy conditions? How does an insurrection take place without any weapons and end just a few hours later? Why did Democrat leaders deny additional police support for the rally? At the risk of typing a whole article of questions, I’ll move on. But my point is made.

While those lies are still coming to light, another monumental story (and egregious lie) was given a capstone in 2021. It is critical it doesn’t get memory-holed like so many other huge stories. Namely, it’s important to remember that the whole Russian Collusion narrative, to which we had to listen to and endure for years on end during the Trump presidency, was a gigantic con.

The next time you have a conversation with a leftist friend, ask them about Trump’s collusion with Russia. Then, be ready to drop a gigantic hammer on them.

In a projection of the actual problem, the entire Russian Collusion narrative turns out to have been a complete inside job of the Clinton campaign and its very own collusion with the federal Deep State. Buried amongst Covid conniveries and Biden blunders, though, few noticed or cared that several years and tens of millions of dollars were devoted to an absolute wild goose chase when it was reported this year.

The D.C. Uniparty framed a political outsider – and threat to their status quo operations – as a corrupt cheater and spent four years lying to the public about it. The seriousness and ramifications of this story cannot be overstated. You want democracy-ruining collusion? I’ll give you democracy-ruining collusion.

If anyone needs the reminder, living in 2017 vis-a-vis “Russia, Russia, Russia” was akin to Chinese water torture – drip, drip, drip – except the drip was a deluge of hyperbolic rhetoric and deceit. Russian prostitutes peed on the bed that Obama slept in. Remember that one? His campaign met with Russian assets in Trump Tower to get dirt on Hillary’s. Remember that one? Trump was Vlad’s right-hand man, right?

In reality, Clinton-associated operative, and recently-arrested, Igor Danchenko invented all of the salacious rumors, funneling them through shady and shadowy Clinton networks, and Clinton-associated operatives entrapped Trump officials in a meeting in a blatant attempt to catch them doing what they accused them of doing. (This last source citation is really insane; it is from a 2018 bombshell expose out of Real Clear Investigations titled “2016 Trump Tower Meeting Looks Increasingly Like a Setup by Russian and Clinton Operatives.” It is definitely worth reading in its entirety, and all the more maddening considering we sat on some really good information three years ago and the public conversation never shifted.)

Once in office, claims of collusion should have been really tough to connect the dots, because as president Trump armed the Ukrainians, dramatically increased military sales to Europe, sold the Patriot missile defense shield to Poland, crushed Russian mercenary forces in Syria, developed weapons pursuant to the new nuclear posture review that violate the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty to counter Russia’s treaty-breaking efforts developed a missile defense strategy specifically oriented towards Russia; and countered the Russia-backed Iran Deal, according to a rundown of tough-on-Russia policies cited by The Federalist. So much for being soft on Putin.

The most damning element to all of these claims is that the FBI (and by extension all of the big players in D.C.) knew within weeks that nothing grounded the rumors. The FBI knew Danchenko was a fraud in early 2017, and yet the FBI’s own Robert Mueller conducted an investigation for two years that, not surprisingly, turned up nothing criminal. What’s more, there were unmistakable links to the Clinton campaign via various lawyers, companies, marriages, you name it.

The relentless headlines in the media and outright lying by bug-eyed or doughy politicians meant all we heard about was the fact that Donald Trump stole the White House, abetted by friendly Russian counterparts. It was the Covid panic porn of its day. Indeed, even if not as deadly, Trump Derangement Syndrome is certainly just as contagious and ruinous to a person’s general health as the Wuhan Flu. The same level of gas-lighting was there, with Pulitzers handed out to outlets like the New York Times and Washington Post for, in the words of the Pulitzer committee, “deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest that dramatically furthered the nation's understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign, the President-elect’s transition team, and his eventual administration.” That’s like giving a Nobel Prize in Science to the FDA for saying ivermectin is merely a horse paste.

Knowing that our 24-hour-news-cycle brains can barely remember the top headline from last week, it’s understandable that we forgot (or repressed) the incessant tattooing of the Russian drum. Life has moved on, hasn’t it? But we forget. And we can’t.

I get that the corrupt corporate media has chosen to largely stay quiet on matters of truth, but where is conservatives’ collective effort to make this story run the recently-resurrected Hillary off the airwaves for good? She claimed that the 2016 election was stolen. Remember that? She claimed that Trump was illegitimate. Remember that? They were all lies. Worst of all, if it can get worse, she knew they were lies and told them anyway.

Now, in doing some digging on this story, I happened to come across an interview that former Senator Rick Santorum (he of sweater vest fame) gave on Newsmax. I don’t often cite Newsmax, let alone Santorum, but what he said is spot-on

“This is where the rigging of the 2020 election really started…[i]t started with this false narrative and tainted the entire Trump presidency with it.” Bingo.

Election fraud must be meant to include far more than just double-counted ballots, misplaced ballots, dead voters’ ballots, insecure machines. – you know, actual fraud. This doesn’t detract from the obvious need for stringent voter identification measures and other means of guaranteeing free election, but it does add weight and merit to the claim that the 2020 presidential election was absolutely stolen.

The election was stolen not just by illegal ballot counting, but by every other effort to hide, distort, or rewrite truths. The claims of 2016’s illegitimacy enabled Democrats to lie about Trump, his character, and his presidency for four years. Add to that the admission of a bizarre Time story that accurately detailed insider collusion to frame narratives and stories as well as Big Tech’s efforts to squash the Hunter Biden story (that could have persuaded as many as 17% of Biden voters to rethink their choice).

From 30,000 feet, this is why the Russian Collusion scandal needs a good rehashing. From the moment he came down the escalator, to the moment he stood on the debate stage and stole the show with his barbs against all of the establishment’s picks, to the moment his David slew Hillary’s Goliath, Trump melted peoples’ brains. They just had to get back at him no matter what.

And they tried. But the truth is prevailing. Now we just need enough people to hear it.

'Badass' Marjorie Taylor Greene cruising to reelection, DC critics ‘delusional'

by Paul Bedard, Washington Secrets Columnist | Washington Examiner | December 28, 2021

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

First-term Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the GOP rebel Washington’s establishment loves to hate, has an enormous lead in her 2022 midterm election primary and is considered "badass" and “incredibly effective” despite being booted off all House committees by Democrats.

In a new campaign survey provided to Secrets, likely Republican primary voters in her northwest Georgia district chose Greene overwhelmingly over her potential opponents, and 53% would back her regardless of who challenges.

And a recent redistricting that added Democratic sections of Cobb County hasn’t watered down her support in the ruby-red 14th Congressional District.

“Anyone who thinks Marjorie Taylor Greene is vulnerable in a Republican primary is delusional and severely detached from reality,” said her campaign pollster and media consultant, Neighborhood Research and Media, in the memo.

The outfit, which also worked in her initial 2020 bid, said Greene’s GOP reelection support is at 71% in head-to-head matchups. Her likely opponents, Charles Lutin and Jennifer Strahan, the darling of anti-Trump Republicans, are unknown to most voters. At least 85% of GOP primary voters have not heard of either, said the poll memo.

“She has an amazing 68-10 favorable rating — up from 48-12 in July — despite the addition of Democratic parts of Cobb County in recent redistricting,” said the memo.

She is also well-funded, unlike her potential foes.

The district is strongly pro-Trump. Some 70% of the Republicans polled said that the former president “was the actual winner” in the 2020 election, and an equal amount wanted him to run again.

It also showed that Trump-backed former Sen. David Perdue is gaining on Gov. Brian Kemp in the gubernatorial primary.

Greene, who is close to Trump, can also be an influence in other races through endorsements, said the survey. More than 7 in 10 Republicans said she is effective, and 36% said they would be “more likely” to back a candidate endorsed by her.

In Washington, she is leading the effort by pro-Trump House and Senate members to primary GOP Trump critics, including Rep. Liz Cheney, and she has been especially critical of the so-called liberal “squad.”

What’s more, she has defied House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s mask mandate, costing her significant fines, and gone to bat for long-imprisoned Jan. 6 Capitol riot defendants.

Marjorie Taylor Greene represents Ruby-Red District 14

“Marjorie Taylor Greene represents exactly the prototype for what voters expect from their representatives in the Biden era,” said pollster Rick Shaftan.

He noted that criticism in Washington from the liberal and conservative media, including National Review, has had no impact back home. And she hasn’t been hurt by her sometimes controversial statements, such as when she raised the Holocaust in a tweet about vaccine passports, comments she apologized for.

His memo concluded, “Northwest Georgia Republicans love their representative in Congress. These numbers clearly illustrate the disconnect between the DC Media Elite, anti-Trump ‘Republicans,’ the K Street Swamp, and the slimy consultant class, and what real Americans actually think. There are few members of Congress more popular or more respected in their home districts than Marjorie Taylor Greene. DC Republicans need to learn from her, emulate her and utilize her popularity to drive 2022 turnout.”

RE: GA-14 Survey 12/13-17, 20-22
DATE: 12/27/21
-- MTG Ballot Jumps FIFTEEN POINTS since July!
A new live-caller survey of nearly 400 likely New Georgia 14th CD Republican Primary voters shows Congresswoman Marjorie TaylorGreene has shot up from 56 to 71 percent since July and now leads her “strongest” opponent by more than 70 points.
“Marjorie Taylor Greene represents exactly the prototype for what voters expect from their representatives in the Biden era,” the pollster’s memo notes. “She wins the ‘reelect’ question by an incredible 67-13 margin and 53 percent of respondents would reelect Greene ‘regardless of who ran against her’.”
“Anyone who thinks Marjorie Taylor Greene is vulnerable in a Republican Primary is delusional and severely detached from reality,” the memo states. “She has an amazing 68-10 favorable rating – up from 48-12 in July – despite the addition of Democratic parts of Cobb County in recent redistricting.”
Greene leads the ballot test by an unprecedented 70.9% to 0.5% margin over Charles Lutin with Jennifer Strahan, who is being boosted by anti-Trump forces, coming in with just one vote out of 388 respondents.
A July survey found Greene leading her defeated 2020 runoff opponent by 56-10. “The five-month improvement, to say the least, is not only amazing but particularly so considering the constant media attacks on Congresswoman Greene.”
The freshman House member also converts an amazing 95 percent of her favorables into votes.
When asked what they like most about Greene, 24 percent of her favorables say she is bold, strong, fights back, fearless, has guts, or is a “badass.” 18 percent say she speaks her mind or is outspoken.
11 percent like that she doesn’t back down and stands up for what she believes, 5 percent say she knows how to work the system and get things done, 5 percent say she is “for the people”, 5 percent like her Conservative/Christian values. 4 percent like that she keeps her promises, 3 percent say she is active in the community, 3  percent say she is awesome, a patriot or similar personal praise.
2 percent mention the following: honest and real, her views, 2A advocacy, good job, she’s like Trump, makes good points, AmericaFirst, Passionate.
Respondents with a favorable, unfavorable, or mixed opinion of Greene (87 percent of respondents) were also asked to rate Greene’s effectiveness as a member of Congress on a scale of zero to ten.
Greene averaged 7.3 on this measure including a rating of 8.4 among her favorable and voters, 8.5 among those who think she deserves reelection, and 8.7 among those who would reelect her regardless of her opponent. Greene scores overall with 8.0 among very conservative voters,6.9 with somewhat conservative voters, and even gets a 5.8 rating with moderates.
Greene leads 73-0 with men and 68-1 with women. She leads 80-0 with very conservative voters (54 percent of the vote), 64-0 with somewhat conservative voters (31 percent of the vote), and 50-0 with moderates (9 percent of the vote).

Greene’s opponents only get votes from liberals or those confused about their ideological preference. 51 percent of district voters attend weekly services and Greene wins 72-0 with these voters, but Greene also wins 71-3 among the26 percent who never attend services – a testament to Greene’s strong across-the-board appeal. She wins 78-0 with Trump favorables (Trump’s 81-4 favorable/unfavorable is a slight improvement from 79-5 in July).

Northwest Georgia Republicans love their representative in congress. These numbers clearly illustrate the disconnect between the DC Media Elite, anti-Trump “Republicans”, The K Street Swamp, and the slimy consultant class, and what real Americans actually think. There are few members of Congress more popular or more respected in their home districts than Marjorie Taylor Greene. DC Republicans need to learn from her, emulate her and utilize her popularity to drive 2022 turnout.

Live callers completed 388 surveys from individuals who voted in either the 2020 Republican Primary or Republican Runoff and who said their chances of voting in the 2022 primary were “definite” or “very likely.” The theoretical margin of error is +/- 5 percent in 95 percent of cases. Calls were made from the Neighborhood Research and Media phone center in Nags Head, NorthCarolina. As secondary verification, respondents were asked their zipcode and surveys from those with non-district zip codes were deleted from the final tally.

Georgia Voter Results from 2020 and Even 2016 Are Changing – Why in Secret?

Someone is changing the voter files from the results of the 2016 and 2020 elections in Georgia.  Who is doing this and is it even legal?  If it is legit why is it done in secret?

by Joe Hoft |  Gateway Pundit | December 25, 2021

Massive problems are being uncovered in Georgia’s certified 2020 Election results.  As these are being uncovered, someone is altering the files saved online related to the election.

The individuals at VoterGA and David Cross have uncovered another material issue in Georgia.

If the Secretary of State is supposed to maintain all election records, why is the voter history file not frozen in time on election day?  If edits need to be made for any reason, shouldn’t there be 1 file frozen on election day and a 2nd for updates?  Enquiring minds would like to know.

 Here is the 2016 file.

 Here is the 2020 file.

This absolutely should not happen.  These files are the property of the citizens of Georgia.  Once the elections are finalized and certified the results should never change.

This would be unheard of in the financial sector.  If financials for major corporations were changed after the fact without an explanation in the current financial period, there would be hell to pay.  A corporation would be fined and its stock price would plummet.  People could go to jail.

What the hell is going on in Georgia?  Wait till we determine what is being edited.

There must be some very big issues with the 2020 Election results in Georgia for the State to allow this to happen.  And Raffensperger thinks he’s ‘Mr. Integrity’?

Tucker Carlson: Biden’s COVID policies are the muscle spasms of a dying political party

Regimes in decline often become ruthless and dangerous, and that's very bad news for Americans

by Tucker Carlson |  Fox News | December 21, 2021

Tucker: Biden’s COVID policies are a measurable failure.

‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ host calls out the administration’s ‘divisive’ language.

So you may not have noticed because the people in charge of diverting your attention are working overtime right now, and honestly, they're pretty good at their jobs, but if you look around, pay a little closer attention, you will notice that Joe Biden's political support is in the process of collapsing completely.

The new Marist polls out, it shows that only 29% of independents support Joe Biden. That is a very bad number. How bad is it? For perspective, in the last election, Donald Trump took 41% of independent voters and lost. So if you're a political consultant, a poll that shows 29% independents support sends you immediately to the liquor cabinet for more vodka. It means your candidate is going to lose along with everyone who's connected to your candidate. You're looking at this tsunami forming on the horizon aimed at you. It's terrifying.

But for Joe Biden, that's just the beginning of the bad news. That same Marist poll shows Biden at 33% among Hispanic voters. In other words, 67% of the so-called Latino community does not support Joe Biden. It's hard even to process a number like that. It's just too far from the conventional view of American politics. Is there a single political analyst in this country who would have predicted that even last week? No, there is not. The one thing we have always known about Latino voters is they're Democrats, and they're Democrats because they understand that Republicans are racist. Period. Upon that assumption, hang all the Democratic Party's hopes for the future.

Now we learn it isn't true. It's not even close to true. In fact, it's approaching the opposite of the truth. So how are Democrats going to respond to this new reality? Look for CNN contributors to start attacking Hispanics just as they've been attacking whites for the past several years. They've got a new enemy now, and it speaks Spanish.

In the meantime, you really cannot overstate, because it's literally impossible to overstate, the level of panic a poll like that must be inducing at the Democratic National Committee. If the Democrats aren't the party of non-White voters, which is what they said, they were probably even what they thought they were. Then what are they?

It turns out Democrats are exactly what they appear to be. They're the party of neurotic, personally unsatisfied White ladies who live in the suburbs. You know, the pretty little signs you see in the lawns of affluent neighborhoods telling you how the people who live inside love BLM and support Tony Fauci? That's the real Democratic Party. It's not a national political party. It's a professional class cultural movement that is highly unappealing to normal people. In a functioning democratic system, people, those little signs on their lawns would never be allowed to run anything because nobody likes them.

The advisers around Joe Biden understand this perfectly well. If these new polling numbers are right, even if they're just sort of right, this is the end of the Democratic Party as a governing majority. It's bewildering to think that.

But, political parties, like markets, often seem the strongest right before they collapsed. The problem is, at this moment, the Democratic Party is still in power, and that's a very bad combination for the rest of us. Regimes in decline tend to become dangerous. As they weaken, they get increasingly desperate and ruthless. They've been rejected by voters. Democracy doesn't work for them anymore. That means they can no longer operate within democratic boundaries and hope to stay in power. So inevitably, they swerve outside those boundaries. Instead of trying to convince the public to support them, that's a democracy, they invent domestic enemies and national panics to keep themselves in charge. And that's exactly what we're watching happen right now.

As of tonight, in this country of 334 million people, there are no confirmed deaths of the omicron variant of COVID. At the same time, just this month, many thousands of Americans have passed away from heart disease and cancer, suicide, diabetes, murder, drug overdoses, not to mention car accidents, Parkinson's, emphysema, Alzheimer's, asthma attacks, choking to death on lobster at a crowded restaurant, just to name a few causes. Lots of people still die in America, but they are not dying of omicron. No one in this country is.

And yet, it's omicron that our leaders and their vessels are suddenly hysterical about.

MICHAEL OSTERHOLM: And I think we’re really just about to experience a viral blizzard.

ANDERSON COOPER: You hear Michael Osterheim say we’re about to experience a viral blizzard.

WOLF BLITZER: One expert now warns of a viral blizzard.

DON LEMON: AS the country braces for a viral blizzard.

CNN REPORTER: There will be a viral blizzard of COVID cases.

KATE BOULDAN: The country is facing a viral blizzard.

CNN REPORTER: A COVID viral blizzard.

JIM SCIUTTO: A viral blizzard is about to hit the U.S.

CNN REPORTER: Infectious disease experts saying a, quote, viral blizzard is about to hit this country.

What is this stuff? Well, it’s a viral blizzard. Is viral blizzard a scientific term? Well, as you just heard, it was coined by someone who calls himself a scientist. But actually, this is not the way scientists talk. Scientists don't makeup phrases for political effect. They don't design language to be as frightening and imprecise as possible. That's not science. That's politics. That's what politicians do.

In case there is any remaining doubt that what you are actually watching is a coordinated political campaign, consider for a moment who's getting infected with this new viral blizzard. Ground zero for new COVID cases right now is New York City. That happens to be the most vaxed city in the country. In New York, you can't have dinner without proving you've had a shot if you want to leave your house. At this point, most New Yorkers have. They've taken it both because they're required to take it in order to live a normal life in their hometown, and also because they were told endlessly by CNN and this country's health authorities that if they got vaccinated, they wouldn't get COVID.

Now they learn, sorry, just kidding, thousands of them just got COVID anyway. For what it's worth, we're not attacking New York when we tell you this, we're not even attacking the vaccines, we're just telling you the facts. This is real, it's happening and it's interesting.

So what rational conclusions can we draw from what we're seeing? At this point, none. CNN doesn't want to talk about the COVID outbreak among vaccinated people in New York. They'd have to correct too many lies that they told. In any case, there are more Democratic voters in New York City than anywhere else in America, so there's no reason to embarrass the base of their own party.

Instead, CNN and its masters in the Democratic Party have identified the real villain to blame for this outbreak. And you'll know, even before we tell you that it's not Pfizer, it's not the government of China. It's America's working class, a group now known as "The Unvaccinated." On Thursday, Joe Biden informed us that these people will die for what they've done.

JOE BIDEN: It’s here now, and it's spreading and it's going to increase. For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death if you’re unvaccinated. For themselves, their families, and the hospital will soon overwhelm.

It's hard to remember ever in our history an American president saying something more dishonest, crueler, or more divisive than that. In a functioning system with an effective opposition, which we do not have, Biden wouldn't be impeached for that. Everything about that statement, which is essential, it's about this global pandemic, everything about it is a lie.

The unvaccinated pose no greater threat to the vaccine than the vaccine posed to them. And if they do, Joe Biden, why don't you tell us how they do? But he can't. No one can. That's why they never explain it.

In fact, there's quite a bit of evidence that the millions of Americans who've recovered from COVID and have natural immunity are safer than most people. They've relied on their own immune systems, and they've been rewarded for it. Joe Biden has never once acknowledged that these millions of people exist.

As for Biden's claim that the unvaccinated are overrunning hospitals, it's hard to believe he would even say that. First, and most obviously, these are American citizens. They have every right to use American hospitals. They pay for those hospitals. This is their country. And as of tonight, they are not overwhelming those hospitals, in point of fact.

And by the way, since we're on the topic, here's a question: Do the unvaccinated "overwhelm emergency rooms" more than the, say, millions of illegal immigrants that Joe Biden has just admitted into our country?  Do they overwhelm the hospitals more than the drug addicts and the mentally ill living on our streets that the Democratic Party so faithfully subsidizes?

No, they don't. This is a lie. This is all a lie. And it's a very scary thing for the leader of the United States of America to be saying out loud. But you can see why he's saying it. You know what's happening here. Biden's COVID policies are a miserable failure. More Americans have died from COVID under Joe Biden than died under Donald Trump. That's not some Republican talking point, it's the truth, and you can look it up on the CDC website. That's the bottom line. It's a very hard number to ignore.

So Biden's advisers want you looking elsewhere. And to get you looking elsewhere, they are working to create a kulak class - a group of reviled subhumans at the rest of us are free to hate and mock and whose deaths were allowed to root for. That's the unvaccinated.

When David Frum tells you we should let the unvaccinated just die, he's not alone. That is not the official position of the Democratic Party. If you get COVID and you’re unvaccinated, it is immoral for you to go to the hospital, you're overcrowding it. And we need that space for the many people who've taken the COVID vaccine and are now sick from COVID. That's what the president of the United States just said on Thursday.

It's at this point that, if it all wasn't so dark, you'd probably pause and laugh because it's also genuinely hilarious. Take the vax so that when you get the disease it's designed to prevent, you have a right to go to the hospital? It's insane.

Sens. Cory Booker and Elizabeth Warren announced yesterday that they have COVID and are now in quarantine, and of course, we wish them the best, sincerely. But you can't help but notice that between them, Booker and Warren have had at least six vaccine injections, and now they're sick.

Why Is The Left Suddenly Worried About The End Of Democracy?

Nuccio DiNuzzo/Getty Images/TNS

by Victor Davis Hanson  | Daily Caller | December 16, 2021

What is behind recent pessimistic appraisals of democracy’s future, from Hillary Clinton, Adam Schiff, Brian Williams, and other elite intellectuals, media personalities, and politicians on the Left? Some are warning about its possible erosion in 2024. Others predict democracy’s downturn as early 2022, with scary scenarios of “autocracy” and Trump “coups.”

To answer that question, understand first what is not behind these shrill forecasts.

They are not worried about 2 million foreign nationals crashing the border in a single year — without vaccinations during a pandemic. Yet, it seems insurrectionary for a government simply to nullify its own immigration laws.

They are not worried that some foreign nationals will now vote in New York City elections.

They are not worried that there are formal efforts underway to dismantle the U.S. Constitution by junking the 233-year-old Electoral College or the preeminence of the states in establishing ballot laws in national elections.

They are not worried that we are witnessing an unprecedented left-wing effort to scrap the 180-year-old filibuster, the 150-year-old nine-person Supreme Court, and the 60-year tradition of 50 states for naked political advantage.

They are not worried that the Senate this year put on trial an impeached ex-president and private citizen, without the chief justice in attendance, without a special prosecutor or witnesses, and without a formal commission report of presidential high crimes and misdemeanors.

They are not worried that the FBI, Justice Department, CIA, Hillary Clinton, and members of the Obama administration systematically sought to use U.S. government agencies to sabotage a presidential campaign, transition, and presidency via the use of a foreign national and ex-spy Christopher Steele and his coterie of discredited Russian sources.

They are not worried that the Pentagon suddenly has lost the majority support of the American people. Top current and retired officers have flagrantly violated the chain-of-command, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and without data or evidence have announced a hunt in the ranks for anyone suspected of “white rage” or “white supremacy.”

They are not worried that in 2020 a record 64% of the electorate did not cast their ballots on Election Day.

Nor are they worried that the usual rejection rate in most states of non-Election Day ballots plunged – even as an unprecedented 101 million ballots were cast by mail or early voting.

And they are certainly not worried that partisan billionaires of Silicon Valley poured well over $400 million into selected precincts in swing states to “help” public agencies conduct the election.

What then is behind this new left-wing hysteria about the supposed looming end of democracy?

It is quite simple. The Left expects to lose power over the next two years – both because of the way it gained and used it and because of its radical, top-down agendas that never had any public support.

After gaining control of both houses of Congress and the presidency – with an obsequious media and the support of Wall Street, Silicon Valley, higher education, popular culture, entertainment, and professional sports – the Left has managed in just 11 months to alienate a majority of voters.

The nation has been wracked by unprecedented crime and nonenforcement of the borders. Leftist district attorneys either won’t indict criminals; they let them out of jails or both.

Illegal immigration and inflation are soaring. Deliberate cuts in gas and oil production helped spike fuel prices.

All this bad news is on top of the Afghanistan disaster, worsening racial relations, and an enfeebled president.

Democrats are running 10 points behind the Republicans in generic polls, with the midterms less than a year away.

Joe Biden’s negatives run between 50 and 57 percent – in Donald Trump’s own former underwater territory.

Less than a third of the country wants Biden to run for reelection. In many head-to-head polls, Trump now defeats Biden.

In other words, leftist elites are terrified that democracy will work too robustly.

After the Russian collusion hoax, two impeachments, the Hunter Biden laptop stories, the staged melodramas of the Kavanaugh hearings, the Jussie Smollett con, the Covington kids smear, and the Rittenhouse trial race frenzy, the people are not just worn out by leftist hysterias, but they also wary of how the power of the Left gain and administers it.

If Joe Biden were polling at 70 percent approval and his policies at 60 percent, the current doomsayers would be reassuring us of the “health of the system.”

They are fearful and angry not because democracy doesn’t work but because it does despite their own media and political efforts to warp it.

When a party is hijacked by radicals and uses almost any means necessary to gain and use power for agendas that few Americans support, then average voters express their disapproval.

That reality apparently terrifies an elite. It then claims any system that allows the people to vote against the Left is not people power at all.

The pioneer of election disinformation

by Kelly Loeffler | The Hill | December 15, 2021

Earlier this month when Stacey Abrams announced her candidacy for governor of Georgia, she said, "I did not challenge the outcome of the election, unlike some recent folks did." That sound you hear is the world's largest record scratch. Despite these desperate attempts to rewrite history, Stacey Abrams is the pioneer of election disinformation.

After losing the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election, Abrams was unwilling to concede to Gov.-elect Brian Kemp. The next year she said, "We had this little election back in 2018 and despite the final tally and the inauguration and the situation we find ourselves in, I do have one very affirmative statement to make: we won." She went even further on several occasions claiming that she had won and that she was proud she hadn't conceded.

She is changing her tune now because she knows her past statements are not only campaign fodder for her opponents but reveal to Georgians her role in our state’s mistrust of elections.

What should also be concerning for Georgia voters is that Abrams, according to Dan Primack of Axios, plans to remain on the board of her blank-check companies, which raised hundreds of millions after launch. Abram's unwillingness to disaffiliate herself from her business ventures, as I and most others have done, bears careful watching of conflicts during a campaign.

In the past, Abrams relied on lies about winning the governorship to fundraise, and her group Fair Fight Action was a large donor to the Coalition for Good Governance, a far-left group that pushed disinformation about Republicans rigging elections in Georgia.

One of Abram's most pernicious lies is that Republican voter suppression runs rampant in the Peach State. Record levels of turnout in the 2020 election among all voters and strong minority turnout haven't stopped Abrams from peddling her fantastical charges of voter suppression.

In reality, those committing voter suppression were on the left. I saw it up close during my own senate race. Out-of-state dark money was deployed to promote disinformation and suppress conservative voters in Georgia. Billboards and ads littered the state encouraging Republicans to stay home in the Senate race last January and contributed to more than 339,000 Republican voters in the general election — and that we had reached multiple times — doing just that.

We saw the same tactics again after this year's passage of SB202 — a strong bill making it easier to vote and harder to cheat. We all know what happened next: a vast Abrams-led disinformation campaign that chased the Major League Baseball All-Star Game and $100 million in revenues out of our state, in the very same year the league had planned to honor Atlanta legend, Hank Aaron. Before the MLB move, Abrams had touted boycotts in a USA Today op-ed while calling Georgia’s bill “Jim Crow in a suit.” She then attempted to stealthily rewrite it to avoid blame for driving the game and the revenue out of our state. Abrams has shown that both the state of Georgia and the truth are secondary to her political goals.

Fast forward to today, Georgia hosted the MLB World Series and is defending its election laws. But the issue of restoring faith in our elections has not disappeared, nor should it.

During her campaign, Abrams will continue to peddle the same mistruths that she has been using to build her brand for the last four years, but the people of Georgia deserve the facts.

Georgians need to hold both Abrams and all other Georgia officials accountable and demand honest discussions about election integrity. After the 2020 Georgia primary, it was announced that there were over a thousand instances of double voting and hundreds of investigations, yet we haven't seen the prosecutions. Allowing fraud without consequence takes away another's vote and voice. Election fraud is a crime, so at a time when Georgians want more law and order, a great place to start for 2022 is with resolving open issues in 2020.

The liberal media derides those who question election integrity in the last election cycle and dismiss voters as crazy conspiracy theorists. Yet Stacey Abrams basically worked with the media in manufacturing and selling false claims about our elections. The liberal media continues to reward her dishonesty with praise and profiles, building a national brand based on little more than false claims about elections.

In matters of election integrity, voters deserve the facts, because no matter which aisle you are on, fair and honest elections matter.

What Do You Think?

"I couldn't agree more, Mrs. Loeffler. I can assume then you also support Mr. Perdue's lawsuit requesting an examination of Fulton County's absentee ballots, and, perhaps, consider signing VoterGA's Georgia Election Integrity Petition?" David Farrar

Perdue sues to inspect absentee ballots from 2020 Georgia election

by Mark Niesse | The Atlanta Journal-Constitution | December 10, 2021

Lawsuit arrives four days after announcing his campaign.

Republican candidate for Georgia governor David Perdue filed a lawsuit Friday seeking to inspect absentee ballots in Fulton County, repeating some of the same unproven allegations as in a lawsuit dismissed two months ago.

Perdue has put false claims of election fraud at the center of his campaign against incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp. The former U.S. senator said he wouldn’t have certified the election results and wanted a special legislative session to delve into conspiracy theories about the outcome.

State election officials have said there’s no indication of fraud after three ballot counts and multiple investigations. Democrat Joe Biden defeated Trump by about 12,000 votes in Georgia.

Perdue’s lawsuit echoes a case that also sought to inspect about 147,000 absentee ballots in Fulton County. Digital images of the ballots were made public earlier this year, but the plaintiffs want to review the originals.

A judge dismissed the prior ballot inspection lawsuit the day after Georgia investigators told the court they were unable to find any counterfeit ballots. Superior Court Judge Brian Amero based his decision on the legal principle of standing, that plaintiffs hadn’t suffered a specific injury that would give them a right to sue.

Perdue’s lawsuit will test whether a former candidate has standing in court.

“David Perdue wants to use his position and legal standing to shine a light on what he knows were serious violations of Georgia law in the Fulton absentee ballot tabulation,” said his attorney, Bob Cheeley.

Perdue lost to Democrat Jon Ossoff in a Jan. 5 runoff election. His lawsuit does not contest the election.

“David Perdue is so concerned about election fraud that he waited a year to file a lawsuit that conveniently coincided with his disastrous campaign launch,” Kemp spokesman Cody Hall said.

The case plays into Perdue’s campaign strategy to embrace the beliefs of some Republicans who think the 2020 election was illegitimate. Perdue is contrasting himself with Kemp, who refused to try to overturn Trump’s defeat in Georgia.

See "Petition for Declaratory Judgement and Injunctive Relief for Inspection and Examination of Election Materials."

What Do You Think?

"Clearly, Mr. Perdue has done the right thing after Voter GA's case was dismissed due to a lack of standing.  The primary election question before Republicans is can Perdue, Kemp, or Vernon Jones win in the general election against Stacey Abrams?" David Farrar

Trump endorses David Perdue in Georgia's governor race

by  Monique Beals | The Hill | December 7, 2021

Former President Trump endorsed former Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) in Georgia's gubernatorial GOP primary, a contest that is shaping up to be one of the most competitive political battles of the 2022 election cycle.

"David Perdue has my Complete and Total Endorsement. He will not let you down!" Trump said in a statement Monday evening.

Earlier Monday, Trump called the state's Republican governor's race "interesting" just after Perdue formally announced his candidacy.

Purdue's entry into the race marked a win for Trump, who had long looked for a strong candidate to take on current Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who had infuriated Trump when Kemp declined to support the former president's effort to overturn his 2020 presidential loss in Georgia.

In his campaign announcement, Perdue, who lost his Senate seat in a January runoff election, said he expected to hit Kemp over the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Stacey Abrams, the voting rights activist and 2018 nominee for governor, is the only Democrat to have entered the state's gubernatorial race so far.

In his statement on Monday evening, Trump said, "Kemp has been a very weak Governor-the liberal and RINOs have run all over him on Election Integrity, and more," using an acronym for "Republican in name only."

"Most importantly, he can't win because the MAGA base-which is enormous-will never vote for him," Trump said.

"David Perdue will eliminate the Income Tax, secure the Elections, defend the Second Amendment, support our great Farmers, get crime in Atlanta and other places under control, take care of our great Vets, and put parents back in charge of the schools," Trump added.

Trump has also thrown his support behind NFL star Herschel Walker who is running against Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.).

What Do You Think?

"It's time for Mr. Perdue to stand up for verifiably accurate elections in Georgia by signing VoterGA's Georgia Election Integrity petition

Former Senator David Perdue to run for Georgia governor

by News Staff   | WSB-TV | December 5, 2021

ATLANTA — Georgia’s governor’s race just got a little bit more crowded.

Channel 2′s Richard Elliot has confirmed that former Republican Senator David Perdue will run for Georgia governor, pitting himself against current Republican Gov. Brian Kemp.

The news comes after Stacey Abrams announced on Dec. 1 that she run for governor again after falling short in the 2018 matchup against Kemp.

Vernon Jones has already announced that he will also run against Kemp for governor in the Republican primary.

Perdue served in the U.S. Senate from 2015 to 2021. He was defeated by Sen. Jon Ossoff in the January runoff.

Before entering politics, Perdue served as the CEO of Dollar General and Reebok as well as a senior manager at companies, such as Haggar Clothing and Sara Lee.

Kemp issued a statement via a spokesperson Sunday, saying:

“The man who lost Republicans the United States Senate and brought the last year of skyrocketing inflation, open borders, runaway government spending, and woke cancel culture upon the American people now wants to lose the Georgia governor’s office to the national face of the radical left movement. It may be difficult for David Perdue to see this over the gates of his coastal estate, but Joe Biden’s dangerous agenda is hitting hardworking Georgians in the wallet and endangering their livelihoods - and we all have David Perdue to thank for it.
”Perdue’s only reason for running is to soothe his own bruised ego because his campaign for U.S Senate failed to inspire voters at the ballot box - twice. Governor Kemp has a proven track record of fighting the radical left to put hardworking Georgians first, while Perdue is best known for ducking debates, padding his stock portfolio during a pandemic, and losing winnable races.”

Georgia emerges as 2022 test of Trump influence over GOP

by Christian Datoc | Washington Examiner | December 3, 2021

Former President Donald Trump is expected to cast a long shadow over the midterm elections. Still, his increasing involvement in the Senate and gubernatorial races in Georgia, a state he narrowly lost in 2020, raises questions about how helpful he will be to Republicans.

On Wednesday, Trump held a fundraiser for his longtime political ally, Herschel Walker, at Mar-a-Lago. He heaped praise on the former University of Georgia football star running against Sen. Raphael Warnock in 2022.

Throughout his speech, Trump touted Walker as the "key" to Republicans taking back the Senate majority and listed his usual gripes about the results of the 2020 general election.

President Donald J Trump speech at Maralago Club Palm Beach FL by Valentina 5613359459

However, that same night, Trump released a statement welcoming Democrat Stacey Abrams into the Georgia governor's race. Abrams, who refused to concede based on claims of fraud in the 2018 gubernatorial election, announced her bid to challenge Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp in 2022. Trump has frequently propped her up as a means of criticizing Kemp for failing to overturn the state's 2020 election results.

"Stacey 'The Hoax' Abrams has just announced that she’s running for Governor of Georgia. I beat her single-handedly, without much of a candidate, in 2018. I’ll beat her again, but it will be hard to do with Brian Kemp," Trump wrote in the statement. "The MAGA base will not vote for him after what he did with respect to Election Integrity and two horribly run elections, for President and then two Senate seats. But some good Republican will run, and some good Republican will get my endorsement, and some good Republican will WIN!"

Early polling shows Walker, not former Sen. Kelly Loeffler, as Republicans' top chance at unseating Warnock, and Trump's influence could boost GOP turnout in November 2022. Party officials largely attribute Trump and his allies' attacks against sitting Republicans responsible for running elections to Warnocks' victory over Loeffler in the January 2021 runoff. Still, some party officials view Trump's penchant for splitting the primary field as potentially detrimental down the line.

"United we win, divided we lose," former Georgia Republican Rep. Jack Kingston previously told the Washington Examiner.

"This is eerily similar to what we saw play out in the runoff," a veteran Republican campaign operative also told the Washington Examiner. "Trump's out, but his base support in states like Georgia is as solid as ever. If Trump told them to, I'd bet these people might even vote for [Abrams] to spite Kemp. What they don't realize is that the state is changing. Metro Atlanta is much more liberal than it was even two cycles ago, and local politicians like Kemp are what's standing in the way of Georgia becoming the next New York or California."

Kemp currently leads Abrams in RealClearPolitics polling average but should Trump formally endorse a primary challenger; the incumbent Republican might not even make it to November. Former State House Rep. Vernon Jones, a former Democrat turned staunch Trump loyalist, has already declared his candidacy for governor. A new poll from Trafalgar found that former Sen. David Perdue, another Trump loyalist who has not yet declared his candidacy, would likely surge ahead of Kemp should he enter the race and earn Trump's endorsement.

The former president's Georgia posturing comes as he tests the waters for his own political comeback in 2024.

Trump's post-White House super PAC, Make America Great Again, Again, recently commissioned a head-to-head poll against his successor, President Joe Biden. The poll showed Trump besting Biden in several states that were critical to the latter's 2020 victory, including Georgia.

"There's nothing President Trump loves more than winning, and there's nothing he hates more than losing," one senior Republican official previously said of the findings in MAGAA's poll in a statement to the Washington Examiner. "2020 was a major blow to his confidence, but a couple of months in South Florida, combined with the absolute disaster that is the Biden presidency, are making it clearer by the day that the 'Trump 2024' announcement is more a question of 'when' than 'if.'"

That same official told the Washington Examiner on Thursday, however, that Trump's 2022 bets on Walker and "anyone other than Kemp" would be a similar barometer for a 2024 run.

"If both of his guys win, he'll definitely run — maybe even if it's just Herschel," that person explained. "But two more losses could also convince him not to reenter the field and open himself up to potential embarrassment on the national stage."

Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Brad Raffensperger Standing In The Way Of Audit

Congresswoman Majority Taylor Greene

by Carmine Sabia  | Conservative Brief | September 4, 2021

Some Republicans have been clamoring for audits of the 2020 presidential election since the election took place, but other Republicans have stood firmly against them.

Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said that the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is one of those Republicans standing in the way.

The congresswoman was interviewed by John Hines on One America News Network to talk about the fight for an audit in Georgia that she said is being blocked by the state’s top Republicans.

“I know obviously, you represent northwest Georgia. And I think that you’ve been following this issue what seems to be happening with regard to the potential for an audit of some of these ballots in various counties in your state of Georgia?” Hines said.

“Well, there’s been many people, really brave people, hard-working people here in Georgia, that have just continued to seek audits. Fulton County is one of them. We’re still waiting on a court ruling there to go forward for the Fulton County audit. They’re also uncovering information in Dekalb County about a chain of custody, having to do with absentee ballots. But you’re seeing people work all over our state trying to audit the election because people here in Georgia continue to believe that there was election fraud on November 3rd, 2020. And they’re very unsatisfied with the results of it and they’re upset and angered at our state leaders, our Republican state leaders that refuse to audit the elections,” Greene said.

Is it your sense that there is momentum gathering in your state for taking a more serious look at this election through these audits?” the host said.

“Yes, because these people haven’t slowed down and they shouldn’t. You know they shouldn’t slow down. That’s the reason why we have so many problems today in our country is there’s not enough accountability in government, and I believe in accountability, I believe in transparency. So I really hope that they continue to keep pushing. Of course, being elected on the federal level, I’m unable to help them on the state level other than supporting them and what they’re doing. So that’s why I continue to say that I support them and really hope that they keep working for this because it’s going to be very important. And The House just last week, The House passed the federalization of elections bill,” the congresswoman said.

“The John R Lewis, HR 4 Bill, I guess right?” Hines said.

“That’s right and that will severely, severely take away election integrity and take away rights from the states running their elections,” Greene said.

“And is it your sense that that, where is the opposition coming to some of these audits? Where is the opposition coming from in opposition to these audits? What seems to be the roadblocks in the way of proceeding down that path as so many of your constituents seem to be desiring?” Hines responded.

“Well, the biggest roadblock is our Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and that is why the Republicans and Georgia will not support him and his reelection bid. That has been loud and clear since he has completely defied everyone’s request. He continues to say that there was nothing wrong with the election, even though he is even looking at taking over Fulton County away from the board of electors there in Fulton County. So while he knows that severe problems exist and it’s even on video. These people rescanning stacks of ballots, over and over. It’s on video it’s like how can you deny that nothing went wrong? So Brad Raffensperger, our secretary of state number one and his staff, his staff is also a big problem, because they continue to stand in that camp.

Number two, our state legislators didn’t do anything about it. They didn’t, they didn’t call for a complete audit. We did get a recount, we got a recount in Georgia, but that was just looking at the ballots and rescanning them into the same machines. We need a full audit, we need a forensic audit and I support everyone that’s asking for it.

So I would love to see our Governor Brian Kemp get on board. I would love to see our Republican state legislators get on board, and I would hope that Brad Raffensperger would find some integrity and backbone and get on board with actually serving the people that elected him,” Greene replied.

“Sounds like you’re not the only one or you’re there is a gathering momentum as you said, of people who agree with you, Congresswoman,” the host said.

“I want to say, please continue to vote, that’s the other problem. Some people are so upset, they’re saying they don’t want to vote in 2022. We cannot go down that road that’s just handing over seats to Democrats, so I say both. Fix the problem, and vote. It has to be done. It’s the only way to move forward,” the congresswoman said.

Why all the fuss about Ivermectin?

by Brian C. Joondeph | American Thinker | September 3, 2021

First, hydroxychloroquine, now ivermectin, is the hated deadly drug de jour, castigated by the medical establishment and regulatory authorities. Both drugs have been around for a long time as FDA-approved prescription medications. Yet now, we are told they are as deadly as arsenic.

As a physician, I am certainly aware of ivermectin but don’t recall ever prescribing it in my 30+ years’ medical career. Ivermectin is an anthelmintic, meaning it cures parasitic infections. In my world of ophthalmology, it is used on occasion for rare parasitic or worm infections in the eye.

Ivermectin was FDA approved in 1998 under the brand name Stromectol, produced by pharmaceutical giant Merck, approved for several parasitic infections. The product label described it as having a “unique mode of action,” which “leads to an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions.” This suggests that ivermectin acts as an ionophore, making cell membranes permeable to ions that enter the cell for therapeutic effect.

Ivermectin is one of several ionophores, including hydroxychloroquine, quercetin, and resveratrol, the latter two available over the counter. These ionophores open a cellular door, allowing zinc to enter the cell, where it then interferes with viral replication, providing potential therapeutic benefit in viral and other infections.

This scientific paper reviews and references other studies demonstrating antibacterial, antiviral, and anticancer properties of ivermectin. This explains the interest in this drug as having potential use in treating COVID.

Does ivermectin work in COVID? Instead of looking at the readily available information, I am not attempting to answer that question because this drug has been the focus of much recent media attention. For the benefit of any reader eager to report this article and author to the medical licensing boards for pushing misleading information, I am not offering medical advice or prescribing anything.  Rather, I am only offering commentary on this newsworthy and controversial drug.

What’s newsworthy about ivermectin? A simple Google search of most medications describes uses and side effects. A similar search of ivermectin provides headlines of why it shouldn’t be taken and how dangerous it is.

YouTube screengrab

The Guardian describes ivermectin as horse medicine, reminding readers considering taking the drug, “You are not a horse. You are not a cow”, saying it’s a medicine meant for farm animals. The FDA echoed that sentiment in a recent tweet, adding, “Seriously, y’all. Stop it”, their word choice making it obvious who the tweet was directed to.

Perhaps the FDA didn’t realize that Barack and Michelle Obama often used the term “y’all,” and some might construe the FDA tweet as racist.

Any medication can be “dangerous and lethal” if misused. The FDA says ivermectin “can be dangerous and even lethal,” yet they approved it in 1998 and have not pulled it from the market despite being “dangerous and lethal.” People have even overdosed on water.

This is a list of veterinary drugs with many familiar names of antibiotics, antihypertensives, and anesthetics commonly used by humans. Indeed, ivermectin is also used in animals, as are many drugs approved for human use. Since these drugs are used in farm animals, should humans stop taking them? That seems a rather unscientific argument against ivermectin, especially coming from the FDA.

And healthcare professionals are not recommending or prescribing animal versions of ivermectin as there is an FDA-approved human formulation.

Does ivermectin work against COVID? That is the bigger question and worthy of investigation, rather than reminding people that they are not cows.

A study published several months ago in the American Journal of Therapeutics concluded,

Meta-analyses based on 18 randomized controlled treatment trials of ivermectin in COVID-19 have found large, statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance. Furthermore, results from numerous controlled prophylaxis trials report significantly reduced risks of contracting COVID-19 with the regular use of ivermectin. Finally, the many examples of ivermectin distribution campaigns leading to rapid population-wide decreases in morbidity and mortality indicate that an oral agent effective in all phases of COVID-19 has been identified.

To my knowledge, these 18 studies have not been retracted, unlike previous studies critical of hydroxychloroquine which were ignominiously retracted by prestigious medical journals like The Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine.

Yet the medical establishment refuses even to entertain the possibility of some benefit from ivermectin, castigating physicians who want to try it in their patients. 18 studies found benefit. Are they all wrong?

Podcaster Joe Rogan recently contracted COVID and recovered within days of taking a drug cocktail, including ivermectin. Was it his drug cocktail, his fitness, or just good luck? Impossible to know, but his experience will keep ivermectin in the news.

Highly unvaccinated India had a surge in COVID cases earlier this year which abruptly ended following the widespread use of ivermectin, over the objections and criticism of the WHO. In the one state, Tamil Nadu, that did not use ivermectin, cases tripled instead of dropping by 97 percent as in the rest of the country.

This is anecdotal and could have other explanations, but the discovery of penicillin was also anecdotal and observational. Good science should investigate rather than ignore such observations.

The Japanese Medical Association recently endorsed ivermectin for COVID. The US CDC cautioned against it.

There is legal pushback as an Ohio judge ordered a hospital to treat a ventilated COVID patient with ivermectin. After a month on the ventilator, this patient is likely COVID-free, and ivermectin now will have no benefit, allowing the medical establishment to say, “See, I told you so,” that it wouldn’t help.

By this point, active COVID infection is not the issue. Instead, it is weaning off and recovery from long-term life support. The early hydroxychloroquine studies had the same flaw, treating patients too late in the disease course to provide or demonstrate benefit.

These drugs have been proposed for early outpatient treatment, not when patients are seriously ill and near death. Looking for treatment benefits in the wrong patient population will yield expected negative results.

Given how devastating COVID can be and how despite high vaccination levels in countries like the US, UK, and Israel, we are seeing surging cases and hospitalizations among the vaccinated, we should be pulling out all the stops in treating this virus.

Medical treatment involves balancing risks and benefits. When FDA-approved medications are used in appropriate doses for appropriate patients prescribed by competent physicians, the risks tend to be low, and any benefit should be celebrated. Instead, the medical establishment, media, and regulatory authorities are taking the opposite approach. One has to wonder why.

Retired Green Beret warns Americans, Afghan allies will be trapped behind enemy lines within hours

by Fox News Staff | Fox News | August 20, 2021, 10:00 am

The retired Green Beret commander said the Taliban would not allow Americans to enter the Kabul airport.

Americans, Afghan allies will be trapped behind enemy lines within hours: Scott Mann

Scott Mann, a retired Green Beret commander, says buses full of American citizens are unable to get to the Kabul airport.

Retired Green Beret commander Scott Mann, who is helping lead a rescue mission to evacuate Afghan allies, said on "Fox & Friends" that the Taliban is preventing Americans from getting inside the Kabul airport gate to access flights. He warned that as the withdrawal deadline is quickly approaching, hundreds of American citizens will soon be trapped behind enemy lines.

SCOTT MANN: The Pineapple volunteers – these are all special ops volunteers and civilian supporters. We're doing this remote. We're doing this from the US, but we're building on our relationship and trust that we've had with our Afghan partners for 20 years. So we've got the ground truth on the outside of the gate.

Here's the deal. There are hundreds of American citizens right now who are not able to get in. Yesterday, there was a bus of up to 50 American citizens with many small children within sight of the gate. The Taliban were not only not letting them in, they were firing over their heads, firing around the bus with these little kids on there. Imagine sitting on that bus with your kids, enduring that for hours at a time, never got in. This is happening all over the city. We're going to have American citizens and Afghan allies behind enemy lines within a few hours.

US handed out blank copies of visas in Afghanistan, setting terrorists up: Ex-FBI agent

by Anna Giaritelli | Washington Examiner | August 29, 2021

A former FBI special agent who tracked counterterrorism cases warned that terrorists in Afghanistan stand a high chance of being able to walk right onto U.S.-bound planes as a result of the Biden administration's dissemination of blank visa papers throughout the country.

“The threat of having Islamic State or al Qaeda come into the country is not increased through the southwest border,” said Kenneth Gray, a senior lecturer in the Fire Science and Emergency Management Department at the University of New Haven in Connecticut.

“It’s the entry of al Qaeda and Islamic State in the groups of refugees that are being taken out of Afghanistan and possibly to the United States because of the lack of vetting procedures that would normally go on to expedite getting all of these people out of Afghanistan," he said.

David Fox, an American trapped in Afghanistan’s capital of Kabul, revealed last week that he received a lookalike visa paper from the State Department. The same paper, he claimed, was sent to thousands of other citizens and immigrants who may qualify for the Special Immigrant Visa. The form is blank with no name, serial number, or bar code.

Tucker: We don't know who the Afghan refugees are

“What do you think happened when these people received a document like this that has no name? Of course, they printed out a thousand copies,” Fox added. “You have tens of thousands of Afghans who now have this kind of ridiculous, bogus document that the State Department created.”

The lack of information on the form, which is used to screen refugees seeking admission on planes out of the country, means that U.S. officials cannot know if someone with that paper was intended to have it or if the visa was photocopied.

“When you provide blank visas without specific names already on them and without going through the vetting process, don’t be surprised when you end up with ISIS or al Qaeda showing up with those visas in hand,” Gray said, adding that it was illogical for terrorists to go about illegally entering the country at the U.S.-Mexico border due to this caveat.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the federal agency responsible for inspecting people at land, air, and seaports of entry, said in a statement to the Washington Examiner that it tracks known or suspected terrorists through a multilayered, rigorous screening process.

Dr. Gary Ackerman, a professor at the University at Albany in New York, does not think “thousands” of already radicalized people will be showing up any time soon in the U.S.

“I don’t think the top echelon of al Qaeda or ISIS is going to be strolling down Central Park in New York City,” said Ackerman, who teaches at the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity and is a terrorism consultant for federal agencies. "I don’t think it’s a huge threat of somebody saying, 'I know what the visa papers look like — I’m going to do Photoshop and do it and come to the U.S.'"

Terror watch lists and other databases are far more comprehensive now than they were decades ago, and names on any document would be screened against federal databases. In addition, biometric data that includes facial scans and fingerprints will help federal authorities determine if an applicant is committing fraud.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, a Department of Homeland Security agency, will follow up with those admitted, and if any concerns arise after being released, Ackerman said the government can and will pursue them.

Ackerman was more concerned about longer-term issues, including how the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan affects jihadists globally and if the domestic terrorism threat in the U.S. amps up in response to what is happening overseas.

How The GOP Committed Suicide Trying to Stop Trump

America Has Never Been Closer to a Single Party, a Uni-Party, Rule.

by Emerald Robinson | The Right Way |  August 27, 2021

When did the GOP cease to be a functioning party? When was the exact moment that you knew the GOP establishment stands for nothing and stands against nothing?

For many, this became apparent in the awful months immediately after Election Day 2020, of course, when a steady stream of GOP leaders took to the airwaves to let their voters know that “the most secure election in history” had just taken place.

For others, it was the Second Impeachment of Citizen Trump — a symbolic exercise that only served to destroy the political career of Mitch McConnell and raze his reputation as the bluegrass Machiavelli of our times.

McConnell wanted Trump convicted, that’s for sure. He pushed that sham until it was clear that he didn't have the votes. The GOP establishment wanted Trump dead and buried to clear the way for Their People in 2024. At the 11th hour, McConnell realized that he didn’t have the votes, and so he told his Republican colleagues: he would no longer vote to convict President Trump. The entire pointless exercise had only served to enrage the GOP base. This time there was no ground cover to hide his double-dealing. The Turtle had been caught. This was his show.

Two months earlier, Mitch had told Americans that he would never be bullied into giving them any more stimulus money for COVID — one week after he told Americans that he was prepared to give the rest of the world $700 billion. Why was McConnell unable to provide some financial relief for working-class Americans? (After all, not everybody was lucky enough to marry the daughter of a Chinese shipping tycoon who happened to leave you between $5million and $25 million as a personal gift.) It seemed suddenly obvious that The Turtle was not actually a political genius. What was he doing? He seemed to be leading a revolt of GOP politicians against their own voters.

McConnell wasn’t the only one who recently drove himself off the proverbial cliff like Thelma & Louise. Look at how many of them bought the January 6th insurrection story hook, line, and sinker! Did they know it was a fabricated FBI plot? Probably. Did they care how many American citizens would be jailed without being charged illegally for months? Not in the slightest. It’s not just Romney, Sasse, Murkowski, Collins, and the usual cast of “useful idiots” for the Democrat Party either. It’s Lindsey Graham telling you that he’s “getting to the bottom of things” every night on cable TV for five years. It’s Kevin McCarthy getting caught renting rooms at the Frank Luntz Day Camp for Future OxyContin Lobbyists after being forced to remove the unpopular neocon gasbag Liz Cheney from GOP leadership even though McCarthy was the one who had elevated her in the first place. You can’t quantify that kind of stupidity.

You would think that shame or self-preservation would stop the self-humiliation that these people indulge in almost daily. But you would be wrong. Since that second impeachment farce, the situation has actually gotten much worse. It's now clear that the GOP cannot function even as an opposition party in the minority. This became abundantly clear during the rushed Senate confirmations of Biden’s cabinet nominees.

First, the GOP failed to halt the nomination of that despicable fraud, the transgender Dr. Rachel Levine, to HHS. Only Senator Rand Paul, to his great credit, attacked Levine for pushing gender reassignment for minors. (When I asked Senator Paul why he was the only Republican to do so, he told me that most of his colleagues were frightened of being called “transphobic” by the press.) Then the GOP failed to halt — and in fact, seemed to embrace — the nomination of Merrick Garland to be Attorney General at the Department of Justice.

For most, the coup de grace was watching every Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee vote to confirm Lisa Monaco as deputy Attorney General — even though she was deeply tied to the disgraced FBI Director Bob Mueller.

It's not particularly important why the GOP did next to nothing to block (or even delay) the most radical and unqualified people (Becerra, Levine, Gupta) that the Biden Administration nominated for high government positions. It's more important to recall that the GOP establishment put up a lot more resistance to President Trump's nominations for high government positions.

This, of course, leads us to an obvious question: what does the GOP stand for? Apparently, it now stands for the enthusiastic endorsement of its ideological opponents who want to aggressively prosecute and harass Republican voters, politicize intelligence for political ends, and push hormone blockers on children without parental consent. In other words, the GOP wants to enact the Democrats’ entire agenda — all the way down to child abuse.

What we're witnessing right now in America is the two-party system collapse into a one-party system. There's no meaningful difference between the two parties on all the important issues in America like vaccines, lockdowns, spending bills, fake insurrections, big tech censorship, and election reform. There's just a different set of talking points.

The GOP has basically committed ideological suicide in its push to oust Trump and his allies from the party. This became very clear with the insane negotiations they conducted with Nancy Pelosi over the January 6th Commission: only Republicans would be dumb enough to empower a commission of Democrats to investigate Republicans. The GOP establishment is so awful that it actually voted to make Juneteenth a national holiday while the FBI was still arresting GOP voters over a fake insurrection. That's really all that you need to know.

The merging of the Republicans and the Democrats into one big anti-Trump party has enormous implications for our country, and all of them are bad. Just consider our civil liberties: do we still have any? Every time Mitch McConnell gets in front of the TV cameras to harass Americans one more time into getting vaccinated, I’m pessimistic on that score. The GOP doesn’t even care about deficit spending anymore, either. The self-described “Party of Limited Government” just voted in favor of the Democrats' trillion-dollar infrastructure bill before they could even read it! Does that sound conservative to you? I’m so old that I remember when some of these people were whining that Trump violated all of our democratic norms. Can you believe the gall? There are truck stop whores who behave with more decorum.

As you watch the total collapse of the GOP establishment, it now seems obvious why so many GOP voters picked a flamboyant Manhattan real estate developer with a TV show about firing incompetent people to lead the party in 2016. Our corrupt political class is so out of touch that Donald J. Trump got elected to save us from them — because he was, by comparison, an honest man. The GOP managed to get rid of Trump, but they also managed to get rid of most voters. Their timing is impeccable too. McConnell and McCarthy and the rest of them have managed to hitch their wagon to Biden just in time for the credibility of everyone in Washington to bite the dust in Kabul.

With That Staggering Figure, How Could You Not Question the 2020 Mail-In Voting Process

Source: AP Photo/Lynne Sladky

by Matt Vespa | Town Hall | August 22, 2021

We all know there was funny business during the 2020 election. There is no way 81 million Americans voted for Joe Biden. You’ll never convince me otherwise. The 2020 election was not fair, and Democrats knew how to exploit the COVID crisis to set things in motion. Secretaries of State cannot just change election laws willy nilly. They need the state legislatures to sign off on changes. In Pennsylvania and Michigan, such tweaks were executed without approval from their respective state legislatures for an obvious reason. They were Republican majority bodies. The team gathered to argue the election discrepancies was not good to say the least. The Democrats were able to run out the clock and here we are. So, are you shocked that there are millions of mail-in ballots that are just missing? They’re gone. Around 15 million votes cannot be accounted for. (via Daily Signal):

Almost 15 million mail-in ballots were unaccounted for in the 2020 presidential election, and more than a million more ballots were undeliverable, according to a new study.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, a conservative watchdog group on election integrity, released a research brief Wednesday assessing the effect of mass mail-in balloting in an election with a close presidential race in key battleground states such as Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin.

“These figures detail how the 2020 push to mail voting needs to be a one-year experiment,” J. Christian Adams, president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation, said in a public statement.

The report found that 1.1 million mail-in ballots were undeliverable for various reasons. Election officials rejected another 560,814 mail-in ballots.

Another 14.7 million mailed ballots met an “unknown” fate, the report says.

Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in the presidential race with an Electoral College victory of 306 to 232 after winning Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin by 0.6 percentage points or less.

A Washington Post analysis in February found that flipping fewer than 43,000 votes across those three states could have changed the election outcome. In the nationwide popular vote, Biden received 81,268,924 votes to Trump’s 74,216,154—a margin of 7,052,770 votes.

It goes beyond that. The GOP was incredibly close to winning everything in 2020. We’re less than 100,000 votes from a unified GOP government, a second Trump term, and a raging river of liberal tears. That Washington Post analysis added that the GOP was 32,000 votes shy of retaking the House and only needed a mere 14,000 votes to keep the Senate. Those aren’t massive shifts. Prior to the 2020 election, in the last four, around 28 million votes were lost.

Questions abound, my friends. Questions abound.

WATCH: Voter Claims California Recall Envelopes Can Reveal Vote

by Joel B. Pollak | Breitbart | August 19, 2021

A woman voter in California posted a video on her Instagram account on Wednesday evening, showing that the return envelope for mail-in ballots in the California recall election could reveal a “yes” vote to anyone handling it.

Voting is already underway in the Sep. 14 recall election. California voters will decide whether Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) will remain in office or be replaced by one of 46 candidates, led by conservative talk show host Larry Elder.

Amy Rose Cox showed how two holes on the envelope, near the signature panel, could show that a voter had marked “yes” on the first question, asking whether Newsom should be recalled and removed, depending on how the ballot is folded.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by amyrosecox (@amyrosecox)

“You can see, if someone, from the outside of the mail-in ballot, you can see if somebody has voted ‘yes’ to recall Newsom,” she said. “This is very sketchy and irresponsible, in my opinion, but this is asking for fraud. So anybody that has access to this mail-in envelope can see who’s voted yes, toss it, do whatever they want to it.

“So, when you’re doing this, make sure that you line up your ballot on the inside of the envelope so that your vote is not visible,” she concluded.

With Newsom struggling in the polls, many Republicans fear that Democrats will cheat to keep him in office — a fear heightened by the fact that Newsom signed an extension of the state’s pandemic voting rules earlier this year, mandating that mail-in ballots be sent to every registered voter, rather than just voters who have requested them.

The state also allows “ballot harvesting.” People can turn in an unlimited number of ballots filled out by other people.

In some circumstances, procedures for printing ballots (or QR codes for ballots) at home have also generated concerns.

Biden Will Not Prioritize Americans Over Afghans in Afghanistan Evacuation

TED ALJIBE/AFP via Getty Images

by John Binder | Breitbart | August 16, 2021

President Joe Biden is not planning to prioritize thousands of American citizens stranded in evacuations from Afghanistan, as the country falls similar to that of the Fall of Saigon in 1975, over Afghan nationals applying for visas to the United States.

Pentagon press secretary John Kirby confirmed to Fox News on Sunday evening that the administration will not give priority evacuation to Americans in Afghanistan over Afghans applying for visas.

As Breitbart News reported, the State Department and Defense Department have said there are “thousands” of Americans left in Afghanistan.

“Once we get more airlift out of Kabul, we’re going to put as many people on those planes as we can,” Kirby told Fox News:

There will be a mix, not just American citizens, but perhaps some Afghan [Special Immigrant Visa] applicants as well. We’re going to focus on getting people out of the country, then sorting it out at the next stop. It’s not going to be just Americans first, then [Special Immigrant Visa] applicants.

According to an anonymous source at the Defense Department who spoke to Fox News, the administration is considering fast-tracking some 30,000 Afghan nationals into the U.S., sending them to Fort McCoy in Monroe County, Wisconsin, and Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, using the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) program.

The Biden administration, though, is seemingly expanding its intake of Afghans beyond those who would qualify for SIV status — typically interpreters and their family members — to include thousands who worked for military contractors, U.S.-based media outlets, or a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Afghanistan.

In July, the Biden administration resettled about 200 Afghan interpreters and their family members at Fort Lee in Prince George County, Virginia, before they are resettled across the U.S. An additional 2,500 Afghans and their families had been set to arrive in the U.S. while 4,000 were expected to be sent to third countries while awaiting their visa processing.

House Democrats and Republicans passed legislation that allows Afghans seeking SIVs to bypass standard medical exam requirements before they arrive in the U.S. Only 46 House Republicans opposed the plan.

Instead, Afghans can get medical exams after they land in the U.S.

Judge Orders Biden To Reimplement Key Trump Border Policy As Biden’s Border Catastrophe Worsens

Kent Nishimura / Los Angeles Times via Getty Images

by  Ryan Saavedra | The Daily Wire | August 13, 2021

A federal judge ordered Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration late on Friday to reimplement a key policy from former President Donald Trump that forced foreign nationals seeking to enter the U.S. through the southern border — illegally or without proper documentation — to be returned to Mexico and wait there while their legal cases are adjudicated.

Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk ordered Biden to “enforce and implement [Migrant Protection Protocols, commonly referred to as ‘Remain in Mexico’] in good faith until such a time as it has been lawfully rescinded in compliance with the [Administrative Procedure Act] and until such a time as the federal government has sufficient detention capacity to detain all aliens subject to mandatory detention under Section 1255 without releasing any aliens because of a lack of detention resources.”

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who filed the lawsuit with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, celebrated the win on social media, tweeting: “Big win for border security!”

“We just won our second immigration lawsuit against the Biden Admin! They unlawfully tried to shut down the legal and effective Remain-in-Mexico program, but Texas and Missouri wouldn’t have it,” Paxton’s office wrote in a tweet. “Together we sued, and just handed Biden yet another major loss!”

The judge’s order comes after Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released new statistics yesterday showing that Biden’s border catastrophe worsened for the sixth consecutive month as U.S. Customs and Border Protection apprehended 212,672 illegal aliens — the worst month ever recorded by DHS, which was created in 2002.

Stunning Video Explanation, 2020 Electronic Vote Outcome Was Fabricated

by  Sundance | The Conservative Treehouse | August 10, 2021

This is a stunning video and represents the best presentation to show how the 2020 election was determined; not by actual people voting but by algorithms inserted into election tabulation machines {Direct Rumble Link}

Dr. Douglas G Frank explains information he discovered as he reviewed election outcomes. Dr. Frank found the baseline for the 2020 vote was created by applying an algorithm that used the 2010 census to fabricate the illusion of registered voters at a state level (predetermined) and then results are controlled at a county level.

Every state is impacted, and every county within the state generates the exact same age and voter registration ratio.   So far they have identified 3,006 counties with the exact same predictable voter outcome and ratio. This really is a must-watch:

Biden Envoy Threatens Brazil Not To Question Electronic Vote

Jake Sullivan

Joe Biden’s diplomats have attempted to influence the internal affairs of Brazil ahead of upcoming elections in the country. On Saturday, newspaper Folha Di Sao Paulo reported U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan urged President Jair Bolsonaro not to question the integrity of electronic voting systems.

Sullivan delivered this message ahead of the 2022 elections in Brazil. Bolsonaro, who has been an ally of President Trump, said electronic voting systems may have been manipulated to alter election outcomes.

Bolsonaro said paper ballots must be returned to ensure election integrity.

“I want elections next year, but clean, democratic, and sincere elections. We will hold elections next year,” he stated. “…Is it fair that the person who took former President Lula out of jail, who made him eligible for election, is the same person who counts the votes in the secret room at the Supreme Electoral Court?”

Sullivan told Bonsonaro Brazil’s elections would be “fair” and “free” with voting machines.

Gov. Brian Kemp Brutally Booed Off Stage AGAIN For Helping Democrats Steal The Election

by Alicia Powe | Gateway Pundit | August 8, 2021

After capitulating to Democrats – certifying the fraud-ridden 2020 election and blocking forensic audits – Republican Gov. Brian Kemp is paying the price at every turn.

The Democrat-media complex continues to cajole the public into believing Joe Biden is a legitimate president, but Americans are not turning the page on the stolen election.

As the maligned Georgia governor took the stage at an event hosted by the Georgia Republican Party on Saturday, he was ferociously booed by the crowd.

“I have been fighting for you – on the roads over the last couple of months – fighting against big corporations,” Kemp declared in a speech that can barely be heard over roaring jeers.

Kemp won the Georgia gubernatorial race against Democrat Stacey Abrams in 2018 after President Trump proudly endorsed him. Then in November 2020, he stabbed Trump in the back, aggressively dismissing the president’s warnings about significant voting anomalies.

The disgraced governor rushed to certify the fraudulent election results without allowing GOP poll watchers to check signatures on absentee ballots.

Georgia gubernatorial candidate Vernon Jones, a former Democrat who switched to the GOP after he renounced the left’s communist platform, is calling for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to investigate “scores of duplicate ballots that are missing chain of custody documents” and is demanding the sitting sell-out Georgia governor resign.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, over 10,300 people voted in a Georgia County they no longer lived in. These are illegal votes according to Georgia law and nearly comprise Trump’s loss margin of 12,670 votes.

Rather than working to secure the state for Trump and the American people amid Georgia’s documented election corruption, Kemp decided to hunt quail and party.

If traitorous Republicans who allowed the presidency to be stolen expect legitimate reelection, they’re in for a rude awakening.

Voters have repeatedly made it clear to Kemp’s his time is up.

Outrage against traitorous Republicans amongst voters will only escalate as the next election nears, national co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots Debbie Dooley told The Gateway Pundit on Sunday.

“Those boos are a reflection that Brian Kemp and his political consultants are completely underestimating the lingering anger toward the Georgia establishment for not calling a special session to investigate election fraud; it does not require approval of the Georgia legislature,” she said. “He betrayed us, and he betrayed the nation.

“Georgia still doesn’t have constitutional carry, liberal districts are exploiting the pandemic to consolidate Democrat control, and Brian Kemp hides in the Governor’s mansion in hopes of avoiding crowds like this. Twenty percent of Republicans will sit out the general election if he is the nominee.”

What Do You Think?

"I think it is time for Vernon Jones to start a petition drive calling for a  decertification of Georgia's 16 electoral college delegate votes when VoterGA proves there were more than 12,285 illegal votes cast for Biden in the last presidential election." David Farrar

Arizona Attorney General Opens Investigation Into County Noncompliance With Enforceable Subpoenas

 Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich

by  Jordan Conradson | Gateway Pundit | August 7, 2021

Attorney General Mark Brnovich has opened an investigation into Maricopa County’s failure to comply with valid and enforceable legislative subpoenas as requested by Arizona State Senator Sonny Borrelli.

Senator Borrelli made the request last week after Maricopa County officials defied a Senate subpoena.

The Attorney General will conduct an investigation and prepare a report that must be completed within 30 days.

If a violation is found, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors will have 30 days to resolve it. If they fail, “the Attorney General will notify the State Treasurer, who shall withhold and redistribute from Maricopa County state shared monies”.

The law was clearly violated and Brnovich needs to decide if he is going to fight for the voters or let these criminals go.

The Attorney General’s Office requested a written response from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021.

Jake Sullivan, Once Bragged with Ben Rhodes – “We’re Liars” and “Lying Footsoldiers”

Jake Sullivan

by  Joe Hoft | Gateway Pundit | February 5, 2021

Jake Sullivan by his own admission is a “liar” and “a lying footsoldier”.  This uniquely qualifies him for the position of Joe Biden’s National Security Advisor. He’s just perfect for the job.

The Russia hoax divided the nation, damaged confidence in our elections, and undermined national security. It nearly toppled a democratically-elected government. And it was all a lie.
The only person who has ever been punished is former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who was involved in the Obama administration’s effort to investigate the supposed collusion. He pleaded guilty to forging an email that led the FISA court to grant a surveillance warrant against Carter Page — and, through him, the Trump campaign.

Clinesmith was sentenced this week — to probation, community service, and a $100 court fee, barely more than a parking ticket in many major cities.

Most of the other people involved in the hoax have earned promotions, joining the many Obama-era officials who have “failed upwards” into new positions in the Biden Administration.

Sullivan is just perfect for the Biden gang.  He’s an admitted liar.

In documents released in June 2020, Sullivan in an email to creepy Ben Rhodes claimed that he was a “lying foot soldier”:

Emails Released by FBI Last Friday Show Obama’s Ben Rhodes and Jake Sullivan Bragging “We’re Liars” and “Lying Masterminds”

Another slew of documents were released last Friday by the FBI related to corrupt activities in the Obama Administration.  Emails between former Obama Deputy National Security Advisor, Ben Rhodes, and Obama’s former Deputy Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor to U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, Jake Sullivan, show the two braggings about how …Continue reading

Four Americans died in Benghazi and Sullivan and Rhodes were busy joking about their lies.

Now Sullivan is entrusted with all the Intel the government can provide him.  This guy should never be anywhere near the White House.

The Goal Is to Have Other States Do It’ – ‘You Don’t Have to Have a Smoking Gun to Decertify’

Arizona state Senator Wendy Rogers

by  James Nicholas | The Freedom Times | August 5, 2021

Arizona state Senator Wendy Rogers made it clear on Thursday that one of the primary goals of the Maricopa County audit is for other states and counties where Dominion machines were used to follow Arizona’s lead and conduct a full forensic audit of their results.

“My point in elucidating all of these names and states is to show how essential it is for Arizona to get it right so that it is a packageable entity that can then be used and moved forward in other states,” declared Sen. Rogers. Video Below

This is why, according to Sen. Rogers, Arizona’s leadership is taking time to “get it right” so that their process can be replicated and “used and moved forward in other states.”

The senator went on to claim that “100% proof” or a “smoking gun” is not needed to decertify the 2020 election results, which she says are “inaccurate.’

Speaking to John Fredericks of Real America’s Voice, Sen. Rogers stated as follows:

The goal is to have other states do it because I called, as you know, for decertification early on after the preliminary hearing was done. And as having said that, as I was saying, that… the certification that we turned in… in January, we now know had to have been inaccurate based on all of these anomalous points that we still have.

You don’t have to have 100% proof or a smoking gun to decertify — to say what you handed in was inaccurate.

Sen. Rogers went on to say that she and other GOP lawmakers in Arizona “want other states, especially states with counties who used the machines to audit every possible county where the machines were used.”

The Arizona senator then revealed that she is currently working with some of her colleagues in states like Virginia, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Michigan, who have shown interest in following Arizona’s lead in auditing the 2020 election results.

Sonny Borrelli, Arizona State Senate Majority Whip (R), spoke with OANN’s Natalie Harp on “The Real Story” after he filed a 1487 request to Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich (R), calling for an investigation into the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) as the County defied the subpoena from the state Senate.

Arizona Senate President Karen Fann (R) had sought ballot envelopes or ballot envelope images; user names, passwords, and security keys for election machines; voter records; routers or router images; and Splunk logs. The board was also told to appear at the Arizona State Capitol for a hearing on August 2, as previously reported by The Freedom Times.

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers (R) tweeted the filed request to Attorney General Brnovich, announcing her support. “Hope the [AG] lays the smackdown. Throw the book at them!” she declared.

Asked how soon he thinks he will receive an answer from Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, State Senator Sonny Borelli told OANN’s Natalie Harp, “I’m really confident the attorney general will follow through with this.”

“The attorney general did send in an amicus brief, if you will when the county was challenging us on our subpoena. He wrote to the courts saying our subpoenas were legal and enforceable and they should comply. The judge agreed with him and told the county, ‘Yes, our subpoenas are legal and enforceable and suggest you follow through,'” Borelli said.

Asked if AG Brnovich cares what the Arizona lawmakers are working on or if it’s all part of the show, Senator Borelli replied, “We shall see. I’m not gonna question his integrity. He did fight for Arizona on challenging– on fighting back and making sure our ballot harvesting law stayed intact in the Supreme Court. He has done several amicus briefs during this challenging process.” Continued Below:

“So I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt. You gotta give him something to act on. Now I’m giving him something to act upon, and that is, they’re challenging the direct authority of the state senate,” Senator Borelli explained.

Asked how long Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has to respond to his letter, Borelli said, “This is pretty much handed to him on a silver platter. Normally, this would take a 30-day window, but since he’s already weighed in on our favor with the courts, it’s already done. This didn’t get blindsided to them.”

“They knew this was coming, and you’re right; it’s a no-brainer. The statute is pretty clear: contempt and disobedience of a subpoena is a class II misdemeanor. … The attorney general has already pretty much been briefed on this because when we were fighting with Maricopa County earlier this year. Enough is enough. It’s time for us to get it done. I’m hoping we will see something within the next 7 days,” Mr. Borelli added. See the video below at the 7:05 mark:
